SU Silver Glimmer Paper Christmas Card

Merry Christmas stamping friends, I just wanted to share a couple of cards today that I made a while ago and hopefully I haven't posted them already. LOL! This will be a quick post as I never know when I will or won't have computer use here at Mom's since I am using someone else's signal. Yes, it is frustrating.
On the first card I used Marina Mist, Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit ink refills. I am coloring the Silver Glimmer Paper and I grab my ink pad and the refill and put some drops of ink in the lid and using a Sponge Dauber and dab the color onto the Glimmer Paper. I LOVE THIS LOOK! Aren't they darling ornaments and trees? I think so.  The first card used the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies and the second card uses the Holiday Collections Framelits Dies. Both using the Silver Glimmer Paper with a totally different look.
You will see a Sneak Peak from the Spring Catalog which is the Needlepoint Border embossing folders.
I pray that you all have a blessed Christmas and have a great time with family and friends.
Just send me an email if you have any questions on my cards. Thanks so much for stopping by today.

SU Watercolor Winter Christmas Card

OMG what a horrible news day that is so sad and tragic. My heart and prayers go out to all of those affected by the horrible massacre in the school in Newtown, Connecticut.  Those poor innocent children that had to see and hear that horrible incident will be scarred for life.

This was my last card I hope I had to create for this year. Cards done-check, baking done......not even close. LOL! I used the Watercolor Winter set that is a two step stamp set. I however used my Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green ink pads and blender pen to color  in the holly. I stamped the image in Basic Black ink first. I used the Window Frames Framelits to die cut it. The DSP is the Snow Festival DSP.  The tag is using More Merry Messages.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Watercolor Winter, More Merry Messages
Card Stock and Paper: Gumball Green, Naturals White, Snow Festival DSP
Inks: Basic Black, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Window Frames Framelits, Blender Pen, Bakers Twine, Sponge, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back in a couple of days.  We have our family Christmas on Sunday so will be back after that. Meanwhile I need to bake like crazy. I know everyone is busy this time of year. I hope that we can all take a moment to say a prayer for the survivors of that horrible tragedy today.

SU Merry Minis Christmas Card

Hi stamping buddies and greetings from Iowa. Wow, what a week! Quit my job on Monday, pack and gather up stamping stuff and deliver a party order and then get my haircut on Tuesday and on Wednesday I drove the 12 hour drive to Mom's. The weather was wonderful the whole way and I am so grateful for that.
My car was so dirty driving through the sloppy snow in mid and southern Minnesota. I am so happy to be home though. I worked on addressing Christmas cards today and then Mom saw a high school classmates Mom's name in the obituary so I went to the funeral home tonight and to wash my car. It is so mild here. Almost 50 degrees today. YAY!

Okay about my card. I used Gumball Green Card Stock and textured that with the Delicate Designs  EF. I used the Curly Label and punched out of a sheet from the Snow Festival DSP and then see the SNEAK Peek of the Petite Curly Label Punch that is available in the SAB Catalog. I punched out of Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green CS and then stamped the Merry Minis and punched them out with the Merry Minis Punch Pack and attached them to the card. I made a banner using More Merry Messages. I tied the Bakers twine around it and walla that was it. Easy Peasy Card.  I thought it turned out cute, don't you? Ha when I look at my card I put the middle punch out on crooked. Oh well, I can't be perfect all the time. LOL!

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Merry Minis, More Merry Messages
Card Stock: Gumball Green, Whisper White, Snow Festival DSP
Inks: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Curly Label Punch, Petite Curly Label Punch, Merry Minis Punch Pack, Cherry Cobblers Bakers Twine, Dimensionals.

Our Hovey family Christmas party is getting ready to get vamped up this weekend so I have a lot to do before that so I probably won't  be posting very much until our party is over on Sunday. I feel like I should bake some cookies. I haven't even started that yet. I hope you find some time to create something cute and I want to thank you for stopping by. If you need any shopping ideas I have a great idea,  shop here  www.funtostamp.stampinup.net  24/7 in the comfort of your own home.  Or give a great gift to your self or a friend and join my Bev's Busy Bees team by clicking on the above link too.  I would love you have you on my team.  Live Love, Laugh, Stamp! SU Christmas Lodge Christmas Card

Happy Hump Day stamping friends. I hope your week is going as great as mine. I went last night to the cafe that my recruit and friend Kim owns and we made all the stamp a stack cards. She was supposed to be invited since it was at her place but we ran out of room so I told her I would come make the cards when it was more convenient. OMG do you watch the show The Voice? Wowza, there are some incredible singers on there. Next week only 4 left but the talent is amazing with all of the contestants.

On my card I stamped the tree as I got that as a Single Stamp the SU is offering.  I stamped it on Naturals White Card Stock and die cut it out with the Labels Framelits and then die cut the one bigger out of the Red Glimmer Paper. I layered all that over Garden Green Card Stock that I textured with the Petals A Plenty EF. My card base is the Naturals White. The tag is from More Merry Messages. Of course the Rhinestones for more Bling.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Christmas Lodge Single Stamp, More Merry Messages
Card Stock: Naturals White, Garden Green, Real Red, Red Glimmer Paper, Silver Glimmer Paper
Inks: Garden Green
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Petals A Plenty Textured Embossing Folder, Labels Collection Framelits,
Merry Minis Punch Pack, Basic Rhinestones, Sponge, Dimensionals.

Have a splendid  day and I hope you get some time to create something cute. Bless you for stopping by. Hugs, Bev

SU More Merry Messages Christmas Card

Monday Monday, can't trust that day. Hi Stamping buddies, ugh I work the late shift today unfortunately. BRRRR! It is below zero this morning and I am up early. I just put some Breakfast Burritos in the oven. I almost have my 6 Stamp-A-Stack cards done but I have been working on my meeting cards for my downline meeting Tuesday night. I am so mad as I keep losing things. I know, I think I am losing my mind. Now don't laugh, I have lost a clear stamp from More Merry Messages, a Pacific Point marker, the Love and Sympathy stamp set, and a framelit from Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I have turned my office/stamp room upside down and cleaned off my table and my paper cutter table where I put a lot of scraps and found none of these things. I burn my paper and all the scraps from stamping and yesterday after I burned the day before I went out to the burn barrel and ran my fingers through the ashes to see if my framelit had fallen in either of my two wastebaskets and nope. All I found were black sticky ashes. YUCK! I knew the stamp would burn but the framelit wouldn't. Anyway, now I have to rebuy all of it again. GRRRRR! Yes, the whole group of Brights Markers, the Whole Apothecary Accent Framelit set, 2 whole stamp sets. ARGH!!!! I am so mad!

Anyway, this is a card I stamped that hunting weekend and I love how it turned out with that beautiful verse as the main image. I had some old Pear Pizzazz seam binding and it matches the Lucky Limeade pretty good don't you think? I cooked it in the microwave like I told you about before. The DSP is from the Holiday Catalog and is called Candlelight Christmas. I love that paper. The image was die cut from the Window Frames Framelits.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: More Merry Messages
Card Stock and Paper: Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Candlelight Christmas DSP
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Window Frames Framelit, Designer Ribbon Slides, Sponge, Dimensionals, Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding(retired) .

Here is an ornament like you see on the front of the Holiday Catalog(sort of) made with the Candlelight Christmas DSP and the Holiday Ornaments Framleits using Tulle Ribbon, Linen Thread, and the Rosette Die on top a Designer Button and the Big Pearl. Oh man, we were laughing so hard that night as I live alone so do not decorate for Christmas and I really didn't want to make this ornament but they sort of forced me into it. LOL! I am going to attach a magnet and put it on my fridge since I don't put up a tree. I think I had more hot glue on my fingers than I did holding my ornament together! Then when I got it all done I had two different colors on the back so I am not sure what I did wrong but it looks pretty from the front. Sometimes it is hard to be me. LOL!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and leave me an email if you have any questions or find my lost items. Hay, I have a great idea, I could take up a collection for my lost items, okay NOT!  LOL!  Have a great day and happy stamping.

Jolly Bingo Bits Card #3 of my Christmas Stamp A Stack

Happy Tuesday morning to you all. Just having my first cup of Joe. Today I wanted to share the 3rd card we did at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack last weekend.  I thought this turned out cute too and they liked it so that is what is important. Right? This weekend we have a Fall Fest they call it and I think I am going to take a table in and sell cards except for my Christmas cards because I will need more of them. I hope it doesn't rain like it says. Today, I have to start making salsa. I got tons of veggies from friends last night and I think that is soooo nice. Even fresh squeezed grape juice that my BFF said if I drink like it is it will stain my teeth purple so I need to add sugar and water to it. She let me taste  some of hers and it was so yummy. I have a huge busy day so better get to it.

I used the Jolly Bingo Bits and More Merry Messages to make my card. I stamped the images in Riding Hood Red, Gumball Green and Daffodil Delight onto Whisper White Card Stock and then punched them out with the 1" Circle Punch, then layered them onto a piece of Gumball Green card stock that I punched out with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch. I textured the Whisper White layer with the Delicate Designs EF and the scalloped the bottom edge with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I cut a strip of DSP from the Storytime pack and then tied the Bakers Twine around it. Then I strung the Bakers Twine through the Vintage Faceted Button and here is a tip for you. Use a needle threader from your sewing center to help thread that Bakers Twine through a button hole. It makes it a lot easier. Okay what do you think of my card? I thought it turned out sweet.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Jolly Bingo Bits, More Merry Messages
Card Stock: Gumball Green, Whisper White, Storytime DSP
Inks: Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight, Riding Hood Red
Tools: Big Shot, Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Scallop Trim Border Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Vintage Faceted Buttons, Bakers Twine, Dimensionals.
I hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all of your comments. It tickles me pink to read all them every day. Remember to shop 24/7 here: www.funtostamp.stampinup.net

Winter Memories Christmas card for Stamping411 challenge

Hi again stamping friends. I have another quick card to show you that I made this morning before church and for the Stamping411 challenge which gives you a format to do. I sort of followed it along. I used this charming Winter Memories Set from the Holiday Catalog. I love this sled and the ice skates in it. I send tons of Christmas cards so I am going to try to do the challenges with my Christmas sets. Kill two birds with one stone. Oh that saying sounds so violent to me. Anyway, this morning I went to prayer service and then to  church and then there was a potluck so I ate and came home. I finished this card so I could get it posted. I have to chop up those tomatoes and get them ready for making salsa on Tuesday. I need to go out and pick the peppers too.  Busy Busy!

I think this card turned out so pretty. I used Crumb Cake for my base and for the second layer I used Crumb Cake that I stamped with the Woodgrain Background Stamp in Crumb Cake and the Woodgrain EF. Then I used the Crumb Cake DSP and added the Crochet trim down over the seam. I stamped the main image with Back Stazon on Watercolor Paper and used my Blender Pen to watercolor. I stamped the Christmas verse from More Merry Messages in Early Espresso and then layered both with Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. I added the pearls and punched some Cherry Cobbler card stock with the edge of the Curly Label Punch and crumpled it up and stuck it under my sled image. I think it turned out like a Hallmark card, don't you? Oh I suppose I could have added some glitter but you know me I hate glitter unless of course I am at my friend Patty's. LOL! I hope she reads this.

Here are the details"
Stamp Sets: Winter Memories, More Merry Messages
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Watercolor Paper, Crumb Cake DSP
Inks: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Basic Gray, Garden Green, Gumball Green
Tools: Big Shot, Woodgrain Textured  Impressions Embossing Folder, 5/8" Crochet Trim, Curly Label Punch, Basic Pearls, Mini Glue Dots, Blender Pen
Have a blessed Sunday and thank you for stopping by today.
Hugs, Bev

Hi stamping friends. Oh man I have a cold, but feeling better than I did last night when I got home from the Primary Election Duty. I went to bed early and slept almost 12 hours I think. I have my Stamp-a-Stack Christmas party this Saturday so need to run to town to get groceries. I wanted to do at least one card challenge this week and will do more if I find time.

Here I used the tree from Scenstsational Season Stamp Set and then stamped off before I stamped it and then stamped my verse over that. I cut it out with the 2-1/2 Inch Circle Punch. I used the Snow Festival DSP on Primrose Petal for my card base. Very Easy card this week. That is about all I can come up with today.

Chock Full Of Cheer card 4 I Spy Sketch

Happy Saturday stamping friends. It is sunny and cool here in Northern Minnesota. I have a packed day today with making pickles, laundry and stamping so I will make this quick.  I stamped this card this morning for the ISpy Sketches card challenge. I used the Festival of Prints DSP Stack on page 20 of the Holiday Catalog for my DSP and then used the Petals Of Plenty EF for my background. The stamp set is Chock Full Of Cheer in the Annual Catalog page 10.

I can't believe how big banners are on a card and I love the way DSP makes a cool banner. There are some beautiful designs in the paper stack this year. I stamped the ornament and then cut it out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and then added a Rhinestone to the ornament for some BLING. The ribbon is the Scallop Dots Ribbon using the undotted side. I have my Stamp-A-Stack next weekend. I should post it on here too I guess. Busy Busy!

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: Chock Full Of Cheer, More Merry Messages,

Scentsational Season Christmas Card

TGIF stamping friends, and I am so tired tonight but my day of work went fast. I could take a nap but OMG the Olympics start tonight and I have some gals coming over again soon to buy discontinued stamps from me.  I have this Christmas in July card to show you I guess it is since it is July 27th.  I can't believe July is zipping by so fast.

On this card I used Olive Green and Garden Green ink and Card Stock and the Naturals Ivory. I stamped the trees in both colors on the front of the card from the Scentsational Season Set and then textured the Garden Green layer and the top layer with the Perfect Polka Dots EF to mimic the polka dots in the trees. Then I cut one out with the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies. This set and Framelits are in the coming soon Holiday Catalog and you can bundle them for a 15% off discount. SWEET! I tied the Linen thread around the top layer and then used the greeting from More Merry Messages set from the Annual Catalog. I punched that out with the Modern Label Punch and then used the Apothecary Accents Framelits and I used my Paper Piercing Tool on that. Then I put the cutout tree from the framelit on the inside of my card.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Scentsational Season, More Merry Messages
Card Stock: Old Olive, Garden Green, Natural Ivory
Inks: Old Olive, Garden Green
Tools: Big Shot, Holiday Collection Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Modern Label Punch, Linen Thread, Paper Piercing Tool and Mat, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you like my card. Thanks so much for the prayers and the wonderful comments. I hope you enjoy the Olympics if you are watching. GO USA!
