Scentsational Season Card for Merry Monday #30

Good Morning stamping friends. I have been lax in posting and I apologize but I came home so tired yesterday and then had to go deliver orders and return my table so stopping to talk to my stamping buddies took most of the night. I have to bake bread and make salsa to can today so this will be quick.

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you that I stamped a few weeks ago.On the background of my card I stamped the Distressed Dots in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the candy cane in Early Espresso ink onto Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and used the Oval Accent Die to cut it out. You know me, I am always trying to come up with new shapes so I put it through the Big Shot and then again turning  it came up with this large circle with points on all four sides. I textured it with the retired Snow Burst EF. Then I stamped the images in Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Gumball Green on Natural Ivory Card Stock and used the Holiday Framelits to cut them out. I popped them up with Dimensionals. I tied a knot with the Sweater Trim and then stuck it down on my card with Mini Glue Dots. I mad a banner with the Be of Good Cheer DSP and then stamped Warm Winter Wishes out of the Winter Memories Stamp Set.

Here are the details:

Chock Full Of Cheer Card for FMS49

Happy Sunday stamping friends, I just made this card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches card Challenge. I went to church this morning and tonight we have a community church deal at 7 that they wanted us to make bars so I baked a pan pf M&M cookie bars to take along. It was nice and sunny but a cool 60 degrees but now it is clouded over.

I stamped the mitten from the Chock Full Of Cheer set in Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Pacific Point onto Whisper White CS and punched them out with the 1-/3/4" Circle Punch. I popped them up with dimensionals onto Pacific Point Card Stock that I textured with the Perfect Polka Dots EF. I tied Indigo Island Bakers Twine around my card and then stamped the Warm Winter Wishes from Winter Memories stamp set and used the 1-/14" Circle Punch to round of the edges. Easy Peasy card and I guess a "4" on the cute meter from a range of 1-7. LOL!

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Chock Full of Cheer, Winter Memories
Card Stock: Pacific Point, Whisper White
Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Pacific Point

Winter Memories Christmas card for Stamping411 challenge

Hi again stamping friends. I have another quick card to show you that I made this morning before church and for the Stamping411 challenge which gives you a format to do. I sort of followed it along. I used this charming Winter Memories Set from the Holiday Catalog. I love this sled and the ice skates in it. I send tons of Christmas cards so I am going to try to do the challenges with my Christmas sets. Kill two birds with one stone. Oh that saying sounds so violent to me. Anyway, this morning I went to prayer service and then to  church and then there was a potluck so I ate and came home. I finished this card so I could get it posted. I have to chop up those tomatoes and get them ready for making salsa on Tuesday. I need to go out and pick the peppers too.  Busy Busy!

I think this card turned out so pretty. I used Crumb Cake for my base and for the second layer I used Crumb Cake that I stamped with the Woodgrain Background Stamp in Crumb Cake and the Woodgrain EF. Then I used the Crumb Cake DSP and added the Crochet trim down over the seam. I stamped the main image with Back Stazon on Watercolor Paper and used my Blender Pen to watercolor. I stamped the Christmas verse from More Merry Messages in Early Espresso and then layered both with Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. I added the pearls and punched some Cherry Cobbler card stock with the edge of the Curly Label Punch and crumpled it up and stuck it under my sled image. I think it turned out like a Hallmark card, don't you? Oh I suppose I could have added some glitter but you know me I hate glitter unless of course I am at my friend Patty's. LOL! I hope she reads this.
