Layered Labels wedding card

Hi stamping buddies. Well, now that my nephew's wedding is over I can share their hand stamped card with you! It was such a lovely wedding and wow what a beautiful couple. Here they are in a black and white photo. Elliot and Reed Weiss. 10-19-2012
Photo: Love this!
It was a beautiful wedding.

So here is the card I stamped for them.
My card base is Naturals White and then a layer Night of Navy card stock that I dry embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper EF. Then I embossed the stamp from the Layered Labels stamp set in Gold Embossing Powder. I die cut it with the Apothecary Accents Framelits. With a Sponge Dauber I sponged Night of Navy ink over it. I then punched out a heart with the Full Heart Punch and snailed it over the image. Then I made a banner and stamped Forever and Always from the Loving Thoughts stamp set. I sponged around the banner with Night of Navy and added Basic Pearls on each side.

I hope you have a honey of a day. Another rainy one here this morning and not much on my plate today so another day with Zumba practicing. Guess I will make some soup. Make sure you leave me a comment whether you like my card or not and if you are interested in joining my team or need Stampin' UP! products, go here: www.funtostamp.stampinup.net

Blooming With Kindness Sympathy for colourq

Happy Thursday night stampers. Wowza, I was tired tonight after working 9-1/2 hours on my feet with no break. Absolutely ridiculous place to work and actually illegal also, not to have breaks. I came home and had to take a nap. I didn't get home till almost 7. Oh well, I pray my house sells soon so I can quit. I am so excited about moving back to the Quad Cities. Pray Pray Pray!

Here is a card I made for the colourq challenge colors as long as I had to stamp some Sympathy cards for Fall Fest I stamped it so I could put it in a challenge. I used all the colors but it looks like I didn't use the black but it was my stem and sponging around the die cut for the flower. I used the Lacy Brocade EF and the stamped the flower in Tempting Turquoise and then again and another piece of Card Stock and stamped in Pumpkin Pie. I cut it out with a Scallop Circle Punch and popped it up with dimensionals. I die cut the Whisper White Card stock with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and then cut it straight down on my paper cutter to make it mimic a church window. I sponged around it with Black and Pumpkin Pie. I made a banner and added a Round Designer Ribbon Slide and used some Taffeta Ribbon that is probably discontinued in Gray. That is all there is to it. Pretty easy really!

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Loving Thoughts, Blooming with Kindness
Card Stock: Basic Gray, Whisper White
Inks: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie
Tools: Big Shot, Window Frames Collection Framelits, Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Round Designer Ribbon Slides, Sponge, Dimensionals.
I am tired and going to bed as I work the early shift tomorrow. Totally pooped out and have to still get some things ready for Fall Fest Saturday. YIKES! Thanks for stopping by. Hugs Bev

Wonderful You Card Reason To Smile Fruit Card CAS#3

Hi stamping friends, OMG what a night! I have to tell you what happened tonight after I got home form work. I told you my Mom and 2 of my sisters are coming up next week right, so my youngest sister called me on skype to talk about the trip up and while I was talking to her a stamping friend/customer came over to look at my old style punches I have to sell so I told Karen I would talk to here next week. Then my friend left and I was heating up my chili to eat and then I here someone calling me on Skype again and it was my other sister. Well pretty soon I smell something burning and it wasn't food smelling. I told her just a minute and went out to my kitchen to find my fabric lunch bag on fire and the handle of my leather purse smoking. I have a glass top stove and turned on the wrong burner.YIKES!!!!! OMG I am lucky I didn't burn my house down but I guess I wouldn't have to worry about selling it if I did. No lie, man did it stink in here. I hope I didn't ruin my glass top but my lunch bag is toast and the handle on my purse isn't in the best shape. CRAP the story of my life I tell ya I could write a dang book. My oldest sister Jan was laughing at me. Okay on a serious note I need you to say a prayer for a friend of mine that is having problems and the doctors aren't sure what is wrong so without naming names please say a prayer for my friend. Thanks.

Now I made this fruit card for a card challenge for CASology and it was to use fruit. Well the obvius one was the Perfectly Preserved set from the upcoming Holiday catalog but you will have to check out the blog they want really simple naked cards so I made this card out of the Reason To Smile Set that will be going away in 5 days so if you want it time is running out. Anyway I stamped the flower in Tangerine Tango Ink with Tangerine Tango Card Stock and then cut it in half and used my White Gel Pen to make the rind and then with my marker colored in some of the seeds. I used the Window Frames Collection Framelits and textured both that die cut and the the layering Tangerine Tango piece of Card Stock with the Fancy Fan EF. I turned the Whisper White rough side and the card layer to the smooth side. I made a banner and used the Loving Thoughts stamp set for the banner and then made a little ribbon banner on the side with the 1/2 Scallop Dots Ribbon and a Round Designer Ribbon Slide.I hope it is easy enough but I thought it turned out cute. Don't you? Glad I didn't have this card on the stove. LOL! I hope you will check out the other artists at the blog by following this link www.casology.blogspot.com

Fabulous Florets Sympathy Card

Hi stamping friends. These are the cards I hate to have to stamp but I needed some male type cards so made this card with the Fabulous Florets set and used the blues for it. I made a mask for the flowers by stamping them on printer paper and cutting them out so I could stamp 3 of the flowers and then lay down the mask and then stamp the stems over. I think this card turned out so pretty. I used Baja Breeze card stock and then tied a ribbon with Baja Breeze Seam Binding, I made a banner and that finished up my card.

I had such a headache most of the day and I can't really say it is gone now either.  Dang it anyway. I just feel sick to my stomach too. Not good. I cleaned a bit and picked up clutter since this couple is coming tomorrow and I also get my holiday order tomorrow so I am excited for that. I need to get laundry done and bring my suitcase up to start packing for home after this couple comes. Please pray that they want to buy it. I really want to move back home. They get a lot as I am leaving my washer and dryer and mower and a lot of other things. I need to go water the garden tomorrow too as we are going through a dry pattern again.
I  did have some good news in an email today. One of my recruits made it to Senior Associate so I got to pick a free stamp set out of the catalog so I picked the Morning Post Alphabet as it was the highest price set on my wish list. YAY,  I love perks like that.  Wouldn't you like getting free stamps from Stampin' UP!? You can if you join my team. Just click on my Join Now button. Only $99.00. I couldn't be happier to have some new team members. Think about it now would you. If you have any questions make sure you contact me. If you live in another state it doesn't  matter.  I have skype and hold monthly meetings with swaps and all sort of info and I treat my down line very well. You could ask any of them. Seriously I am a great up line.

Anyway here are the details for my card:
Stamp Sets: Fabulous Florets, Loving Thoughts
Card Stock: Baja Breeze, Confetti Cream(discontinued)
Inks: Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery
Tools: Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Dimensionals.

Loving Thoughts Monochramatic

Happy Tuesday Friends, I hope you week started off great. I came home tired from work last night and watched the Batchlorette and man I wish she would kick that Ryan on there to the moon. I agreed with who she sent home to a sense but too bad she couldn't kick off one more. He is so arrogant and condescending and she sees it so not sure why she keeps him. Did you watch it? I like that Doug but is he up to something. He is kind of like the mystery man. The raccoon saga continues and he still is at large....LOL! He is getting hungry though as he can't get into my birdseed now. I see him sniffing and pawing all over on the ground.

The other night I got an email from my down line Darcy that was at her sister's house in Omaha. I use to live by her sister Becky who is a dear friend of mine and they wanted to know how to make this flower shown on page 154 of the new idea book. I told them I thought it was the Blossom punch but I would get back to them. I grabbed some Blushing Bride card stock and my Blossom Punch and punched out 7 of the flowers. Then I started wrinkling them up a bit and picked up a SU marker and with the lid still on it I wrapped my flower around the end of it. I did this to all of them and then stuck the flowers together with mini glue dots except the the top one I put a dimensional under it. After I got them together I took my finger and kind of worked the bottom petals downward. It turned out looking exactly like the flowers on page 154 of the catalog. SUCCESS!!!! I took a picture of it and emailed it to them. Well, last night this lonely flower was just sitting on my table so I decided to put the beauty on a card.  This is what I came up with. Isn't it bootiful?  Oh so purdy! Simply GOJUS!  I love how it turned out. I took the Vintage Wallpaper Texture Folder and embossed that then took my Blushing Bride Ink over the highlighted part and it looks so vintage.  I used the Loving Thoughts set and cut out my tag with the Framelits Apothecary Accents and then added a couple of basic pearls. I actually took the sanding block along the edges of my top layer and my tag. Will you let me know what you think of my card? You would have to mail this in a bubble envelope. Aren't some people just worth that? I think so.

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: Loving Thoughts
Card Stock: Blushing Bride(now discontinued)
Inks: Blushing Bride
Tools: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing  Folder, Framelits Apothecary Accents, Sponge, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals.
Bless you for stopping by today and I hope you will have a honey of a day.  Leave me a comment and thanks to all of you that follow me. Love you for that. Hugs, Bev

Sympathy Card with Raining Flowers

Hi friends, tonight I have a color blocking card to share that I started a long time ago but just put the greeting on it today. The stamp set Raining Flowers is a 2 step stamp set but I made this big flower that is a one step stamp look like a 2 step stamp by taking my Early Espresso Marker and running it along the edge of the stamp after I had inked it up with the Baja Breeze ink. I think it just made the stamp pop and give it dimension. Don't you?  I popped up the center of the flower that I cut out and the shadow looks like there is a grayish spot but there isn't is is just the shadow from the lighting. I like how this turned out and it will be an easy mailable card. I like those.

I was so excited today being able to view the new catalog and it is so beautiful. Some of my new stuff comes tomorrow so I hope to have some time to play with it so I can post something for you. The new Annual Catalog is so incredible. You will love the way it is laid out. Some new punches and quite a bit of new Big Shot stuff. SO EXCITING! Can you tell how much I love STAMPIN' UP!? I really do love my job.  Come on June so I can order the new Big Shot and punches that are new. I need to start stamping my swap cards for Convention in July also. Lots to do. But fun stuff.

Here are the card details:
Stamp Sets: Raining Flowers, Loving Thoughts
Card Stock: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Early Espresso
Inks: Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Early Espresso
Accessories: Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon, Cutter Kit, Dimensionals
This was really a pretty easy card. I hope you like it and I am yawning from being up early to see the catalog and order it. Let me know what you think of this card and remember to create something cute. Bless you for stopping by. Hugs, Bev

Wonderful You Card

Hello stamping friends, I have been busy today making burritos and a cake for my down line meeting tonight. But, I wanted to post something for you and I thought we would take the night off of swapping so I won't have meeting cards to share. I had saved this card to post so I will show it to you today. It is a very easy peasy card but I love this DSP so wanted to share it with you. I absolutely love those Framelits Labels Dies and can't wait to see what other ones they come up with in the next catalog. Are you as excited as I am?

Here are the simple details:
Stamp Sets: Apothecary Art, Loving Thoughts
Card Stock: Regal Rose, Pacific Point, Whisper White, Beyond The Garden DSP
Inks: Regal Rose, Pacific Point
Accessories: Big Shot, Framelits Labels Dies, Designer Buttons Brights, Island Indigo Bakers Twine, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.

This is just such a simple card. You could make it any kind of card you wanted by changing the greeting banner.
I better go check on my burrito meat and get that cooked before my recruits get here but thanks for stopping by and remember to create something cute. I love reading your comments.
Hugs, Bev

Thinking of you Card

Hi stampers, it was busy Wednesday for me, how about you? I got to sleep in though and I must have needed it. I tried to clean up my stamp room a little more and trying to get some more Easter cards addressed and then went out to burn another box I had unpacked and picked up some sticks and burned that all up.  Then I came in and was eating lunch and my phone rang and my caller ID said Stampin' UP!. I thought hmm what could that be? I answered  hello and I was so excited it was Shannon West. Yes, Shannon West from Stampin' UP!.   I just love her and the sweetie called to apologize to me for not responding to a post that I asked her about on our demo Stampin' Connection. We talked for few minutes and I thought wow,  how nice of her to call me and she really put a smile on my face. I worked on a card that I had in my mind for a party in April that I got booked last night and then tonight I had church for Stations of the Cross and here it's 9:00 already and I could go to bed I think. But, before I do that I was think about all you followers and wanted to give you something tonight so here I am with a card to show you.
This is a card I made the other day and it was a case from Leadership in different colors. I just love those Blossom Builders from the mini for a quick card. I tell you banners are really the rage and I think they still will be. I got my new Paper Crafts magazine and they still have tons of them in there. If I was doing a video on this it would be a quick 4 minute card I think.

Here are the details for the card:
Stamp Sets: Mixed Bunch, Loving Thoughts
Card Stock: Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla, Attic Boutique DSP
Inks: Blushing Bride, Soft Suede
Accessories: Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Scalloped Border Punch, Blossom Punch, Stapler, Blossom Builders, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Sponge.

Very easy card but pretty I think. Let me know what you think will you?  Thanks to all of you that stop by to look and leave me comments. Those really touch my heart you know. Have a blessed night and happy stamping.
Hugs, Bev
