SU By The Tide Birthday Card

Good Morning stamping buddies. Oh, I have been so busy trying to clear out and pack up Mom's stuff to make room for my stuff and to make it look organized. I have even gone through my stuff too to get rid of stuff. I still need one more drawer for my stuff in the bedroom. It is raining today and yippee it looks like Spring may be on the way. I have a busy day just living life and really wish I could just get this place organized so I could just stamp. LOL! Don't forget this is the weekend to spring forward so change your  clocks ahead an hour.

This is a card I made with the By The Tide Set as I needed some male birthday cards. Uh-oh, I think I forgot to mail some of them too. On my card I used Not Quite Navy card stock and ink and distressed the edge of the retired Confetti White. I am trying to get rid of that card stock. Tee  Hee. The Happy Birthday is from the Sassy Salutations. I like the way it turned out don't you?  It was an easy card really.

Here are the details:

Thinking Of You card

Happy Hump Day stamping friends. What is going on in the world? It deeply saddens me that the Devil is all around us. My heart goes out to all of the American's families that lost loved ones yesterday in the attacks of the Embassy in Libya. God bless the survivors of these families. I went to the doctor again yesterday and ended up getting  some expensive drugs to get rid of this what is zapping all my energy. It is supposed to help me in a couple of days. Thank the Lord I got a doctor that cared enough to really help me. I was going to go into work but decided not to and called into sleep in a bit and get started on my tomatoes that I will blanch all today and then can tomorrow. I have to get started but I stamped this card fist. Priorities you know. LOL! Wow I just took some mail out to the mail box and the winds must be about 45 miles an hour. Hold onto your wigs kind of day.

On my card I stamped it for the 2 different challenges that I will link too. My card base is Bravo Burgundy, with  the second layer Whisper White that I rolled with the Viola's Lace and the Thoughtful Friend  Builder Wheels in Bravo Burgundy ink. Then I stamped flower from Raining Flowers  stamp set in So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Summer Starfruit. I cut them 2-1/2" wide and then about 1-7/8" thin to fit on my cut down 2nd layer. I put a pearl in the middle of each flower. Then I used the Sassy Salutations for the greeting and bannered it. This was for the ColourQ colors and the Clean and Simple and Keep it Simple card challenges. I like the way it turned out, what do you think?

Here are the details:

Sassy Salutations Happy Birthday/Unscripted Sketches

Hi I'm back stamping buddies. Well, ha ha guess what I have been doing? Hey, I did get my bedding changed and still working on laundry but almost done and then I think tonight I will blanch some of the ripe tomatoes. I did get all my paper burned too. I have just been blog hopping a bit and working on my meeting make and takes cutting the card stock.

I came across this challenge and I absolutely love the way my card turned out. I have this thing for circles or polka dots I guess. I simply used my 3/4" Circle Punch and punched circles out of Pool Party and the International Bazaar DSP. On my Pool Party circles I had a scrap of Rich Razzleberry that was already textured with the Perfect Polka Dot EF so I grabbed my Itty Bitty Shapes Punch and punched out around 1 dot. I attached all the circles and the itty bitty flowers with Mini Glue Dots and then stamped the greeting from Sassy Salutations in Rich Razzleberry ink. This was an easy peasy card and probably took me 10 minutes if that. Well, it did because I had to reink my ink pad. LOL!   I didn't even use the Big Shot.

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: Sassy Salutations
Card Stock: Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party, International Bazaar DSP
Inks: Rich Razzleberry
Tools and Accessories: 3/4" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack Flower Punch, Mini Glue Dots.
I suppose I better put on my grubby clothes and start in on the tomatoes. UGH! I would rather relax to be honest but I have to work all next weekend so I will be doing this all weeknights. Oh well it will be great in the winter and that Salsa Verde is so good. Thanks for stopping by and remember to leave me a comment when you are here. Live Laugh Love Stamp! Life is so good! Hugs, Bev

Make A Mitten Christmas Card

Good Monday morning stamping friends. Well, no bird nightmares last night so all is good. I wanted to share another one of my stamp-a-stack cards.  I thought this turned out so darling. I used the Make a Mitten set and Chock Full of Cheer for the mittens. Doesn't my Label Framelit cut out look like DSP? I die cut  the shape from River Rock Card Stock and then stamped the borders from that Make a Mitten Set across the cut out. Then I used the Festive Paper Piercing Pack to go around the edge. I rounded my corners of my card base with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and then sanded the corners to smooth them out. I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Sassy Salutations Set. I used the Round Designer Button Slide and used the Seam Binding  that I rolled up in a ball to wrinkle the ribbon. Then I attached it to my card with Mini Glue Dots. I was so tickled pink when I got it done. I love it, don't you think it is cute?

Here are the details:
Stamps Sets: Make A Mitten, Chock Full Of Cheer, Sassy Salutations
Card Stock: Bravo Burgundy, River Rock, Naturals Ivory
Inks: Bravo Burgundy, River Rock, Baja Breeze
Tools: Big Shot, Label Collection Framelits, Mitten Builder Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Round Designer Ribbon Slides, Seam Binding Ribbon, Festive Paper Piercing Pack, Paper Piercing Mat and Tool, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.

I have to tell you we were laughing so hard stamping all the mittens because they did 3 of each card and they were trying to figure out the tops and trying to save card stock. I got such a big kick out of Jackie and Patty. They were just a hoot. Here they are posing for my picture taking. I love them both they are so sweet.

I hope you have a terrific Monday and thanks for stopping  by today. Don't forget about my blog candy as you have more time. You need to go to both Facebook to like my page and to Pinterest to follow me in order to qualify.

Sassy Salutations Thank You

Good Morning stamping friends, I am so excited to share this card with you today. Isn't it purdy? OMG! I love the Raspberry Ripple color and this Orchard Harvest DSP is to die for. So beautiful! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I used those Sticky Rounds in the Holiday Catalog and used my Stitched Satin Ribbon for the In Colors and wrapped it around on the Sticky Round and put a Vintage Faceted Button with a little bit of the ribbon in the middle which I attached with Mini Glue Dots. I think this card is just striking.

Wow it really cooled off here and seems like we have an early fall. Yikes, must mean an early winter too. YUCK! I am not fond of winter and I know I am in the wrong part of the country. I already know that. Darn it.  Today I wish I had my Mommy to take care of me anyway. I can't kick this horrible cold and have to try again to get into the doctor when they open.

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: Sassy Salutations
Card Stock: Raspberry Ripple, Orchard Harvest DSP
Inks: Raspberry Ripple
Tools: Sticky Rounds, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Vintage Faceted Designer Button,  Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by today and love all your comments. It looks like I can get into the doctor today so better get there. Have a honey of a day.  Live Laugh, Stamp! Hugs, Bev
