Come to Bethlehem Christmas Card

Hello stampers, how are you doing? YAY it is Saturday! I have this card to share with you today. HA HA I was addressing some envelopes the other day for a birthday card and out of my book fell these pages. I threw them away and then later in the day I saw these ragged sheets in my trash and thought to myself I should make that into a card so here it is. I did sponge around the edges but yes sirree  I am a recycler  LOL! Sorry I haven't blogged in a couple of days but life has been in the way in a big way. UGH!

So on my card I just stamped the Come to Bethlehem image in Soft Suede ink. I used the Peace On Earth from Merry and Type and stamped it in Cherry Cobbler. I punched it out with the Designer Label Punch. I put a Rhinestone in the star which you can't really see but I think it turned out cute for the time it took me to make it. 2 minutes. No Big Shot needed. LOL!

I have a busy weekend with getting the holiday things done.  So I better get busy on what I need to get done. If you want some easy shopping or am looking for a fun, happy job just click here to shop 24/7 or join my team: www.funtostamp.stampinup.net
Have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by. Hugs, Bev

Something Old and Something New

Ha! Did you think I got married?  NOPE not me anyway. This card I made with some old Designer Series Paper from years back. I had some scraps left over so thought I would make a quick Christmas card to add to my collection when I get ready to send them out.  It was a simple card and it turned out okay but I thought the DSP matched the Soft Suede CS so nice. Here are the details of what I used!
The Stamp Set: Merry & Type
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Real Red,Naturals White. Christmas Cocoa DSP from years back.
Inks: Soft Suede Marker, Real Red Marker
Accessories: Big Shot, Snow Burst Texture Folder, Decorative Label Punch, Soft Suede 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Buttons, White Bakers Twine

I hope you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving. I know I did and am so grateful  for all the blessings in my life every day! Thanks for stopping by and now that Thanksgiving  is over I suppose Christmas will be here before we know it so these easy peasey cards are very much appreciated by many! Hugs,Bev

Merry and Type Christmas Card

This was another swap card of mine I gave at Convention. I used the Big Shot with the Clear Circle Die and cut out Shimmery White and Always Artichoke Cardstock. I textured the Always Artichoke circle with the Finial Press Texture Folder. I used the marker method on my ornament stamp from the Merry and Type set and used the Always Artichoke and Red Riding Hood markers. You need a steady hand! LOL! I used the Letters To Santa Designer Series Paper and punched the border using the Eyelet Border Punch. Then I snailed 2 pieces of  Seam Binding in Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke and then tied some Very Vanilla 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon around both pieces of ribbon. Then I stamped the Merry and Bright stamp with Red Riding Hood Ink. Then punched it out with the Decorative Label punch. I think it turned out so elegantly looking. Isn't it just booootiful???? I love it! SHHH! I saved some of my swaps for this years Christmas cards. Thanks for stopping  by and leave me a comment. Oh and if you know anyone interested in become a SU demonstrator please let me know by emailing me or calling. Could you be my next recruit. I hope so!
