Creative Elements Happy Birthday for Colourq challenge

Good morning stamping friends, I mean good early morning. I woke up at 3 something and couldn't go back to sleep so I got up to come in my craft room and stamped a card for the Colourq challenge and for my recruit/friend Kim's birthday today.  She had asked me about how to make an easel card again so I made my challenge card an easel card. I haven't used this set in a while and I think it turned out so pretty. 
It is a chilly morning and when I finish this I can probably go back to bed for awhile. I am going to prep for a party I have on the 7th and then the next weekend I leave for IA for my nephews wedding. I got my salsa done last night and then took garbage into town and went to take a walk with my friend that I haven't seen for awhile. 

On my card the card base is Soft Suede, then Cajun Craze that I textured with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I stamped the flowers in Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie ink and then die cut that out with the Apothecary Accents. I sponged around the die cut with Soft Suede and then added some "Bling" with the Basic Rhinestones. The Ribbon is Stitched Grosgrain. I color spritzed the front of my card with the Color  Spritzer Tool and my Cajun Craze Marker.  I cut a piece of Cajun Craze Card Stock and used my Scallop Border Punch and then cut a Whisper White piece to layer over it and I stamped the swirly stamp with Soft Suede ink that I had stamped off. Then I used the Perfectly Pen set for my Happy Birthday that I stamped in Rich Razzleberry. I used the Cajun Craze instead of the Dusty Durango for the challenge. I think it turned out so pretty and that is what my friend Kim deserves.

One In A Million Thanks card

Happy hump day stamping friends, today I wanted to share with you a card I made for a thank you to my BFF that had to go to to town so she picked up groceries for me. Isn't she sweet? Yes she is. Here I used the Creative Elements set and used the color coach for the color selection. I used some of the new tools like the Apothecary Accents and the new darling little 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch that will be available in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. That catalog is incredible and hopefully all my customers will be receiving it shortly. That little punch I can see using in a lot of ways. Just wait and I will share them with you.


Well, the exciting Convention starts today I am feeling withdrawal from not being able to go. I will be waiting for my BFF to text me with some of the details and can't wait to see what I am missing from all my friends that did go. I stamped the swirl stamp in Rose Red ink and sponged around that piece with Prefect Plum ink. I snailed that down and then stamped the little border along that piece with Perfect Plum ink. I stamped the design that could be a tag in Rose Red on the same color CS and then cut it out with the Apothecary Accents. Then I punched out the small circle with Marina Mist and used my paper piercing tool and mat to poke a hole through  both pieces and then used an Antique Brad for an embellishment. I stamped the Above and Beyond in Marina Mist. I think it turned out cute for just grabbing a stamp set and running with it so to say.  I need to try to get my groove on to create some swap cards that are due in  the first part of August. LOL! I hope it works. I want to get those done today. I also have to get raspberries frozen too. YUM!

Thank You with Creative Elements

Happy Sunday friends, I hope your weekend has been a great one. I was supposed to go to church today to clean before our service but didn't make it. I felt so bad when I got to church today. I had totally forgot when I woke up. I came home and made myself some bacon and eggs and then started my laundry.This guy came over to check out my house as it is up for sale again. I am now ready to move back to Iowa to be closer to my family. He left and I ran into town to get a Bungee cord so that darn raccoon can't get into the bird seed again. Damn raccoon. I came back home and came into my office and decided to stamp a bit.This is what I came up with today.


On this card I took a 4x5" piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock and scored it on my Simply Scored Tool every 1/2 inch. Turned it the other direction and scored it again the same way. I stamped the beautiful scrolly design from Creative Elements on the background and then used the Two Tags die to stamp the butterfly in Midnight Muse which is one of the new In Colors. I stamped them flying up and then stamped one on a scrap to cut out and pop up on the middle butterfly with a mini glue dot that I rolled in my finger to pop it up by the body. I tied a knot with the Baker's Twine. The Banner is from the new Bitty Banners Framelits and I stamped the thank you from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Midnight Muse ink also on the banner.

Praying for You Black with a splash of color swap card

Good morning stamping friends, today I am going to share with you my other swap card for Cindy Umbach's Black and White with a Splash of Color swap card. I used a couple techniques on this card which are the paper folded ribbon and the Faux Tile Technique. I am proud to swap this card as I thought it turned out so pretty. I am happy these 2 sets didn't make the discontinued list of stamps. 

Today is the day we can register for our  Stampin' UP! Convention. YAY!!!! It will be sooo fun with swapping, classes, make n takes and gifts too. I just love going. It is such a great learning experience and I get to be a Late Night Stamper reporter also. It will be so much fun.

Daring Adventure Card

Good Afternoon Stampers......I am feeling a bit more chipper and thinking about my life so stamped this card. Yes, that is so true Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained! That is how I got up to Minnesota from Nebraska in the first place. I do not have any regrets about it though. So..... if I get an offer on my house I will move on back home closer to family. Life is either a Daring Adventure or Nothing. I pray you live your life that way too. Life is so short so take risks as it could be the best step of your life!!! I love the footsteps and verse in this set! At Convention I received the cutest bookmark from Shelli using this set  and it had some of her favorite candies attached to it. I keep it on my desk as a reminder. So with that let me tell you about my card.

Creative Elements Wedding Card

This was a card I made at my last workshop. I used the Creative Elements and Tagtastic Hostess and Curvy Verses set on this card.
This is a type of J fold card. I used the Bigz Scallop Square Clear Die and scored and folded it at the one inch mark and attached it to the back of the card. Then it opens up and the inside opens.
Cardstock: Pool Party and Whisper White
