Christmas Card using Mixed Medley Hostess Set

Hi again stamping buddies. I have gotten all my stuff together and mixed up my Peppermint Dip and Turkey Tetrazini and still want to make a dessert of some type tonight. I stamped this card this morning as I am trying to stamp a couple of cards a day and I want to share a lot tomorrow. This was an Easy Peasy card and so easy. I cut the Window Frames Framelit out of my Real Red card stock and then layered that darling  Be of Good Cheer DSP in the AC underneath. I punched the Curly Label Punch and scrunched it up before I snailed it now over the banner of the same DSP. I used the Gumball Green Sweater Trim and a Designer Button on top. I used the little Merry Christmas from Mixed Medley Hostess set.

So how are you doing on your Christmas Cards? Are you getting them done? I send out a lot of them so I am have a good dent in them I know. I won't be going home for Christmas this year and I am really starting to feel bad about it. Mom said since I was there already to not spend the money to come back :(  Yea, she must not want to see me. No, I am sure she does but knows how financially tight it is for me.  And then there is that thing called the weather and never know how bad it will be for that 12 hour drive. I have a blue blue Christmas without them.  I have some Christmas music on to get me in the mood. My wonderful brother Jeff(the only bro I have left) burned me some new cd's. Oh by the way have you ever heard Li Volo? OMG these Italian tenors that are 18 to 21 and so good. I saw them on a PBS special and they were singing at some Detroit Symphonic Place and  wow, they are so talented. They sing Italian and American songs but Jeff burned a cd of them for me and I love it. I am not really fond of Opera so to speak but I love these young guys and they are nice and sweet eye candy too. If you know what I mean. LOL! The new Rod Stewart Christmas CD is good too. Sing it Rod.

Okay on to the details:

Halloween Candy Holder

TGIF stamping friends, I hope you are ready for the weekend. I know I am. I left work early today as I was going to go to the dentist but I came home and called to see if I could change my appointment as I was so tired and didn't want to drive an hour. YAY I get in on my day off next week. I am so happy. I went in to get my hair cut then and have been cleaning up my stamp room some and doing laundry since I got home. I guess tomorrow I will try to get some tomatoes ready for a batch of salsa. It is really chilly tonight as we had a rain and hail storm after I got home and it was so windy. I thought it was supposed to be in the 70's this weekend. Crap, I guess that changed.

I wanted to share this cute little 3D project that I got off of someones blog and I apologize but I for the life of me I can't remember who it was so if you are the one please let me know so I can give your credit. I used an empty toilet paper roll, yepper a toilet paper roll and I smashed it down to cut it off on my paper cutter. I wrapped the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP from the Holiday catalog around it and used Sticky Strip on the edge to overlap the DSP. You can make it as tall as you want to. I used the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch for the base and used the Tombow Glue to attach the roll to the scallop punch out centering on it. I used the same punch for the tag  with  Tangerine Tango Card Stock and then stamped the Spider Web from the Mixed Medley Hostess set in the Holiday Catalog on Whisper White and punched it out with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch. Then I stamped the spider from the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set and punched it out with my 1" Circle Punch . The Boo is also from that set and I cut that out with the Duo Ticket Punch. I punched a hole with the  1/16" Circle Hand Held Punch and strung Black hemp through it and strung it around the black lace ribbon that is retired. I attached the ribbon by stringing it through holes made with my Cropodile that is also retired now. I tied knots on the outside so the handle would stay on and then I cut down a small cello bag and filled it with gumdrops and black licorice.  I thought it turned out so cute and would be so great for a Halloween Party at a place setting or a Hostess gift. Don't you think it is cute so start saving your toilet paper rolls and fix up some cute Halloween gifts?

Here is what I used:
Stamp Sets: Mixed Medley, Spooky Bingo Bits
Card Stock: Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Whisper White
Inks: Tangerine Tango, Basic Black
Tools and Accessories: 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch,1/16" Inch Hand Held Punch, Tombow Glue, Cropodile, Cello Bags, Hemp or ribbon to tie bag and for handle.
Let me know what you think and please if this was your idea please let me know so I can get you the credit due. Have a great weekend. I am taking weekends off from blogging to get ready for upcoming workshops and canning and cleaning and such. I need to get some work done instead of sitting on my behind here at the computer. LOL!   God bless you for stopping by. Hugs, Bev

3D Friend Box

Happy Hump Day Stamping friends, oh wow I need a massage from blanching and cleaning and cutting up all those tomatoes. Today I have to make the actual salsa and can it. Busy Busy. I wanted to show you this cute box I made from my toothpaste box. I flattened it out and cut it at the length I wanted and left one end intact to close. I just measured  the width and length of my box and scored my DSP from the Pennants on Parade Simply Scrappin' Kit. I put sticky strip on both edges of it and then I made a strip for the bottom and actually put that on first. Then wrapped the side. I filled a cello bag with candy and tied it with the Stitched Satin Ribbon. I used the die cuts from the kit and then used the Mixed Medley Stamp Set and stamped Friend on Whisper White with Summer Starfruit Ink and snailed it to the tag. I wrapped the pennants around a skewer that I cut off. This was one of the the treats I was going to sell at Fall Fest. Now I will have to give it away. So don't throw your boxes away because you can always make cute treats like this. Don't you agree?

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: Mixed Medley
Card Stock: Whisper White, Pennants on Parade Simply Scrappin' Kit
Ink: Summer Starfruit
Accessories: 1-1/4: Scallop Circle Punch, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Cello Bags, Sticky Strip, Dimensionals, Skewer, Toothpaste Box.
Now get out there and create something cute. Live love laugh stamp!  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.  Hugs, Bev

Scentsational Season Gingerbread Card from Stamp a stack class

Hi Stamping friends. I had my Christmas stamp-a-stack today so I will be showing cards we made for that for the next few days. This was our first card and I thought these cute little gingerbread guys are so cute. I only had two gals show up but they kept me in stitches and I almost peed my pants once. It was a great day. They loved the cards I designed. We made an extra card after they were done stamping their stack that I will maybe share with you tomorrow. It is oh so beautiful and simple too. I can't wait to share it with you.

I embossed them with the smelly embossing powder and then cut the long tag from the Apothecary Accents Framelits and dres lines around it like a cookie sheet. I used the Distressed Dots background stamp on the Soft suede layer and then textured it with the Perfect Polka Dots EF. I stamped the polka dotted scallop stamp from the Mixed Medley Hostess set in the Holiday Catalog and then punched it out with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch  and then stamped the Merry Christmas from the same set in Cherry Cobbler and I punched that out with  the 3/4" Circle Punch.  I tied the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around the card. I used the corner rounder for two of the sides. I love how it turned out and those little guys smell so good. Here is a tip:  If you stamp on the Versamark Ink Pad and then on the regular ink pad you can emboss the image with the Smelly Embossing powder and it will stick. So my little guys are glossy and smellin' sweet!
LOL! Then we cut out those cuties with the Framelits Holiday Collection. So easy.

Here are my details:
Stamp Sets: Scentsational Season, Mixed Medley
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Inks: Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad and Marker, Basic Gray Marker, Versamark
Tools: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Holiday Collection Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Hole Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, Peppermint and Vanilla Scented Embossing Powder (I mixed the two).
You will have to let me know what you think of these cute little gingerbread. Don't you think they are darling? I sure do. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a honey of a Sunday. I am going to take my pill and go to bed. I am tired. Hugs, Bev

Mixed Medley Christmas Card Nacho Average 7 Challenge

Hi stamping bleeps. Oh my I still feel like crap so am staying home. I still have a fever and sore throat and can't get into the doctor till next week. UGH! This will be a quick post. I wanted to do my normal challenges I have been doing so here is another one for the  Nacho Average Challenge. Let me know what you think of my card. I am happy with it.

On my card I used the Perfect Polka Dots EF with my Bashful Blue card base. I stamped the snowflake from the Hostess set Mixed Medley in the Holiday Catalog with Bashful Blue ink on the same color of Card Stock. Then I punched them out with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch and then stamped the Merry Christmas In Night of Navy and punched that out with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I put dimensionals under each circle and also on the Merry Christmas and added 2 little Rhinestones for some bling. I added the denim ribbon below with the round ribbon slide. I think those are so cute and a great way to save on ribbon.

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: Mixed Medley
Card Stock: Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Inks: Bashful Blue
Tools: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 1-1/4" Scallop Ribbon Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Rhinestones, 3/8" Denim Jean Ribbon, Round Designer Ribbon Slides, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a honey of a Thursday. I am going back to bed now.  Hugs, Bev
