Hi stamping friends, I sure hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Oh wow, did you eat a lot of junk basically like I did? Oh so good though. Still eating the cookies and fudge. I have given so much away too but still have some left. Oh well, I sure wish I would have brought some new stamps and DSP from the incredible Spring Catalog and more ink pads but I didn't so I haven't really stamped since I finished my Christmas Cards. I did have this card I haven't shared with you yet.
Here is a card I stamped way back in November and I cased it from our Annual Catalog. I just stamped the different butterflies in different inks. I stamped another Lucky Limeade butterfly and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch with the Twitterpated DSP which I used also along the edge of my Whisper White Card Stock. Of course I used the Color Spritzer Tool since it was just so white.

Hi stamping friends, I have a card to show you that I stamped for my BFF's Mother-in-law. No card challenge just stamping. LOL! It is a work day for me today. DARN IT! I was having so much fun stamping for challenges this week. I missed my mailman yesterday so I will have to drop off my card. It is her birthday tomorrow anyway. We got some rain last night and a bit of lightening too. I just got home from work and wow it really cooled off. The power had gone off last night so when I woke up it was about a half hour before I needed to be at work. Yikes, I jumped in the shower and brushed my teeth and got dressed. Drove like a bat out of h.... to work. I made it three minutes late.
I had the Melon Mambo Apothecary Accent shape on my desk so I pulled out my Color coach and found this combo. I decided to use the same Lacy Brocade EF and turned it one side and the Apothecary Accents shape the other direction. I stamped the Pappillon Potpourri butterfly in Old Olive, Melon Mambo, and Pumpkin Pie then punched them out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. Wonder where I got the tag? I used the Apothecary Accents smallest shape and stamped my happy birthday and then put it through the Big Shot but moved the bottom edge of the framelit up to make a smaller shape.

Hi stampers, I AM BACK! LOL! I decided to do this Freshly Made Sketch challenge today. I hope you like it. Yes, I know I am supposed to be stamping swap cards. I am still in my PJ's and battling the dang mosquitoes that buzz by singing, WINNING! Grrrrr, I have killed so many and not sure where they are coming in at. I need to get dressed and run my errands quick and then will come back to work on my last swap cards. It will be easy as I already created the card and only need to do 6. YAY!
On this card I used the Clear Circle Die that is no longer available and the 3-1/2", 3" circle dies and 2-1/2" circle punch. I textured with the Chevron EF to emboss two of the circles.. The card base is Daffodil Delight layered with Summer Smooches DSP. The circles are Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango and Whisper White. The banner is Daffodil Delight Card Stock. I stamped the butterfly by stamping the edges in the lightest color first moving onto Pacific Point so I wouldn't muddy my ink pads. Good morning friends. I hope your weekend was nice and your week will be a good one. I finally got my garden watered last night and it looks like the onions are doing great and my peas are starting to blossom. I need to tie them up. I even picked a banana pepper. I came in so hot and sweaty and then relaxed to watch the Olympic Trials. I didn't feel like doing much in this humid weather. There are hot weather advisories everywhere I think.
This is a card I cased from Jill Hilliard but of course I changed it up a bit. I thought it was a cute layout. You simply layout your DSP and trim design you want to use and then punch a hole with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch first. Then lay your butterfly down through the circle popped up with a stampin' dimensional. I used the Essentials Paper Piercing that has a circle to go around the circle and I did the stitching with the Rich Razzleberry Marker. I tied some Bakers Twine from the rim of the circle up to the edge of my card. I used my markers to color the butterfly stamp from Papillon Potpourri stamp set and then stamped it on Whisper White card stock and then punched it out with the butterfly punch.It was really a pretty easy card. I hope you like it.

Hi stamping friends, I hope your week is going great. As I was eating my breakfast this morning I looked out and saw my Delphiniums in full bloom and I was thinking of how beautiful they are. They are such a beautiful bluish purple color that I couldn't copy very well with any of our inks. I just looked at the calendar and can't believe it is almost July, where has the time gone? I haven't even gone camping or fishing yet. Dang! YAY though you can get the Reason to Smile Stamp set for only $5. with a $50.00 purchase in July and us demos get to order from the Holiday Catalog. I can't wait and am happy that is one of our perks as being a demonstrator.
I stamped the frame here in Cajun Craze and then used the Netting background to make it as if you were looking through the screen. I stamped the frame on typing paper and cut out the inside of the frame to use as a mask for the screen stamp. I stamped a second frame and popped it up with dimensionals. I stamped the flowers in Concord Crush and then used the Island Indigo on top of the ink to make them sort of two tone. I used the Papillon Potpourri for the butterfly. The tag is the Apothecary Accents and the words are from One In A Million stamp set. I am really happy with the way it came out, what do you think? I added little pearls on the top and bottom of the little flairs on the frame. You can hardly see them in my picture. I should have probably added them to the tag too but I didn't.

Good morning stamping buddies. I am refreshed after sleeping in today after working 11 hours yesterday. I watched the Bachelorette last night and then zonked I think. Wow she let Doug go home and John. I wasn't surprised about Doug but because of Chris being such a psycho nut she picked him. I was scared he would stab someone. I thought that Jeff and her were really cute together laying on the floor in the library. I guess I am liking him more than I did before. It will be interesting to see the home dates to so see how the families gel with her next week. I don't really have to much to do today except water the garden. It is going to be hot and dry this week so need to wrangle hoses I guess. NOT FUN!
Isn't this card fun and bright? It was sort of a case from the Stampin' Success Magazine that us demos get monthly. Yes, it is full of ideas to recreate. Then I used the Papillon Potpourri set and stamped the butterfly and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. The Sweet Friend is cut out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch. Then I spritzed my card with the Color Spritzing tool. Yes, I know tools tools tools! And men think they are the only ones that need tools. HA! I do too. I was thinking as I am looking at this card of how really blessed I am that I could stamp tons of this same card to send it to all of the friends I have because of this stamping business. Yes I am so blessed. Thank you God!

Good Monday morning to all you stamping friends. I hope you all had a terrific weekend. Mine was short but sweet. We had a beautiful weather day yesterday. Absolutely perfect! I went to church and came home and made my pasta dish and then put it in the frig to bake later. I started laundry when I got home and then Ann that won the blog candy last time finally come over to get it and I gave her new catalog and showed her the Holiday Catalog. She had a list of stuff to buy already when she got here. We went through the catalog and I showed her some different things as she is a fairly new stamper. She asked what the Versa Mark Pad was so I told her we would make a card. I had gotten this stamp set out to make another card so I grabbed it to make this card. It was really a quick card to make and so easy but sweet, don't you think?
I love that butterfly punch so much better that the old one. The butterflies in this set just make me happy. Now that I have used it I think I will make some more cards with it. I stamped the butterfly in the brick pattern on the background and then stamped one on Whisper White and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. Added the pearls and then punched the edge of the Wisteria Wonder card stock with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. My biggest struggle was with the Bakers' Twine, LOL! I just cut it too short the first time and ended up starting over. Oh well.
