Happy Hump day stamping friends, wow what a week this is turning into. I will be glad when Friday is over! Too busy at work. It has really turned to Fall here as the temps are cool at night and warm during the day. Another funeral will be soon for someone here. Way too many lately. Today was my Mom's birthday and it makes me sad that I can't even be there to give her a hug. I still pray every day for my house to sell. Oh well, ain't life grand? Yes it is! I still am coughing and spitting up that junk and I am sick of it. So many have this same thing and working with the public makes it even worse.
On my card I made this for the Colourq and Casology challenge this week. I used the You're Amazing and Family Reunion stamp sets. I used the Lacy Brocade EF on the 2nd layer of Card Stock that I used Pool Party instead of Soft Sky. I stamped the image on Whisper White and cut it out with the Apothecary Accents framelits. I made a banner with So Saffron Card Stock and stamped the Happy Birthday in Chocolate Chip ink. I stamped sister in Calypso Coral and punched it out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch.

Good Monday morning bleeps, wow is my behind dragging this morning. Those Olympics are keeping me up and then we had a storm come through last night with lightening but not much thunder and some heavy rains. My back is killing me because I did go get my garden weeded. Well, anyway around my plants. YAY then it rained so I didn't have to drag hoses. Oh wow I don't like the way the new gymnastic guidelines are now. The reigning world champion made a mistake and bobbled and she is out. YIKES!
This is my last Reason To Smile card I will show you probably since it won't be available after tomorrow. Here I made a very simple card where I used my clear blocks to color the rectangle and then stamped the flower in black over it. I cut around them and popped up the Pool Party one. I scored some lines with the Simply Scored and ran the Travel Journal wheel over the bottom and then added a happy birthday banner from Family Reunion and used the Summer Starfruit stitched satin ribbon and yes another ribbon slide. I adore those things. I love how this card turned out even though it was so simple. What do you think?

Hi stamping friends. I hope your weekend is going great. I have been busy doing laundry and cleaning the house and have to bake cookies for these wonderful guys that tilled for me Friday. I went out and planted grass seed yesterday in one our my gardens that I am not going to use and wow, my knees are sore today. I still have an area to seed and then get my garden planted. It is a gray cool day though so I am glad I have work to do inside.
Today I am still using the Top Note Die to show you how versatile this die is from Stampin' UP! It has been in our line for a long time and I never tire of it. When you put your card stock through with the Top Note Die and then put it through again and turn the card stock one notch so it is horizontal and matching up the points of the two you can see, you put it through the Big Shot again and you get the shape of the Crumb Cake and the mustache edges come out automatically from being cut off when you put it though the Big Shot. Mustaches are a big rage in male cards right now. I made this card for my brother to send him at Father's Day and didn't have to buy the mustache kit we sell that is on the retired list. Oh, if I had a video recorder I could video this technique but dang I looked at them but in my little town they don't have a tripod and since I live alone I don't have anyone to video me anyway so I didn't get one. Sorry. It really is very easy to do though so just get your Top Note Die out and try it. What you don't have one? This is another card I made with the Top Note Die and just turning it once and matching up the points and put it through the Big Shot again. I textured it with the Finial Press Texture folder that will be discontinued also. Isn't this card just beautiful and sweet? I think so.

cameras and fancy scrap booking supplies. Back then, people filled their
scrapbooks with "scraps". They would use clippings from newspapers
and magazines. They would save special things from events in their lives.
How do you preserve your loving pictures of family and friends? I prefer to scrapbook mine. Didn't us girls look so happy? I am the one with the scarf around my neck. Scrap booking pages are so easy to do with Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' kits like this one that is now retired. They come with darling DSP and card stock and some adhesive die cuts. I made up this page in about 5 minutes and that is no lie. So easy peasy!

GOOD BYE SALE-A-BRATION 2012! This is my last card to post for Sale-A-Bration as it ends today at midnight and I need to get going to work today. I thought this card was bright and cheery using the flower in this set. Don't you? I love this Tangerine Tango so much and can believe it is the color of the year with Better Homes and Gardens as it just wakes you up. I stamped that flower in full ink and then stamped off on scrap paper and stamped again on my square. Then punched the Itty Bitty flower in the same color and added a mini Rhinestone for some bling. Love the bling too! LOL!
