Hello everyone, I am here with a quick post of a quick card today. I have been so busy with house things that I wanted to get done before winter settles in. I got dirt for around my house last night and when that guy came he helped me clean out my eaves too. I needed to get my hose out today to clean off my house from that being done. Thankfully it was warm enough today. Can you believe it is almost Thanksgiving. Where has the summer gone?
On this card I used the Wahoo Paper Pumpkin kit from a month or two back. You should really join My Paper Pumpkin so you don't miss any of these. The leaf is from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit that is in the Holiday Catalog. I used the Chevron Border Punch with the Sweater Weather DSP. That is such pretty paper. The Give Thanks came from the Best of Autumn set and then I used Gorgeous Grunge for the splatters. LOVE that set!
Here are the Supplies:
Stamp Set: Gorgeous Grunge 130514 Wood 130517 Clear,
Best Of Autumn 134390 Clear
Card Stock: Sweater Weather DSP 132814,
Wahoo Paper Pumpkin Kit
Ink: Old Olive 126953
Tools and Accessories: Chevron Border Punch 132154,
Stampin' Dimensionals 104430,
MultiPurpose Liquid Glue 110755
I hope to share a couple of more Thanksgiving cards if I have the time. Remember to order anything that you can I provide you with the link to my online store. Happy stamping and thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Bev

Clean and Simple Card Challenge
Monday Monday, wow I need to get going. A day of phone calls about my house inspection and talking to friends and now I need to get ready for work. It is a crisp Fall day here but nice.
I stamped this card for the Clean and Simple challenge which was a layout challenge. My card base is Midnight Muse and my second layer is retired Confetti Vanilla. I have a hole stack of it I need to use up. Anyway I used the wonderful Gorgeous Grunge and stamped on of the images in Midnight Muse and the other in Pool Party. Geesh ,are you sick of that color yet? I have done a lot of cards with it and then when I looked at the color coach this was the choice again. I added some Candy Dots and it just looked too naked so I added the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder. Then I stamped the Thank You which is from the Photopolymer Another Thank You and wow do I love that set. I don't think you can ever have enough thank you's, do you? You could make this card a birthday or thinking of you or even a sympathy.
Here are the supplies;
Stamp Sets: Gorgeous Grunge 130514 Wood- 130517 Clear,
Card Stock: Midnight Muse 126843, Confetti Vanilla (retired)
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot 113439, Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder 129383,
That is it, clean and simple. I certainly hope you will check out the blog for Clean and Simple. There are some darling cards. I need to scoot off to work so have a great day and just so you know I am here to help you with your stamping needs. Well I am a good cook and gardener so I could help you with that too. LOL! Happy stamping, Bev

Wow a Cool Technique
Happy Thursday stamping buds, I am here with a quick post to get this card in under the wire for JUGS challenge which is a color challenge this time. The technique is one I learned about a while ago but have never used it so today I picked up some oh about 1-1/4" painter's tape at the local hardware store. I know you can use thinner tape also if your choose. I simply tore of pieces of painter's tape and pressed them down lightly onto my ink pad and then put it down it over my Naturals Ivory Card Stock and pressed down to transfer the ink and then pulled it off and threw the tape away. I also grabbed the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set and to give the ink splotches some more dimension and texture as I stamped the lines over it in the same color of ink. I used the Labels Collections Framelits to die cut the piece and then took my Distress Tool and distressed the edges. I used the Pretty Print EF on my second layer. I added a Naturals Designer Button and then put a Candy Dot in the middle. The greeting is from the Hostess Banner Greetings Set and I just fussy cut that out and then layered it on another Labels Die Cut.
Here are the supplies:
Stamp Sets: Gorgeous Grunge 130514 Wood-130517 Clear, Banner Greetings 129711 Wood-129714 Clear
Card Stock: Baked Brown Sugar 131296, Early Espresso 119686, Naturals Ivory 101849

Ring Ring, Anyone There?
Oh, Hello again my friends. I am back with another card for the Retro Sketch Challenge for this week. This Timeless Talk was another set that my friend Julia had that I don't so wanted to play with it. I wanted to make another card with the lovely Tape It stamp set which I figured was just perfect for this challenge. I love that set to make it look like I used Washi Tape. Love it!
Yes, this card just makes me happy like being around my friend Julia. Here is a picture of us at that garden we visited.
I had the best time with her last weekend and it just went so darn fast. She is such a dear treasured friend. Look at her in her pearls. So classy! On my card I used the Color Coach to pick the colors and they came out so pretty and bright I think.
I used Pumkin Pie for my card base and then a layer of Whisper White. The colors I used for the Tape IT images are Basic Gray, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the image for the phone on a scrap of Whisper White and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. I punched it out with the Scallop Circle Punch. Then I stamped the Oh, Hello from the stamp set Oh, Hello. Julia couldn't find the other Hello there so I used that one. I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits and then sponged but with Pumpkin Pie ink. I used the Gorgeous Grunge set to stamp between the tape images.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Tape It 130715 Clear, 130712 Wood ; Timeless Talk 126607 Clear, 126605 Wood;
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie 105117; Whisper White 100730
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot 113439, Big Shot Magnetic Platform 130658,

Colourq Challenge Card with Lovely Romance
Yep, I am back stamping friends! It feels like forever since I have stamped but I have been so busy and my apt is still a fricking mess. I have boxes that I brought here that went in my kitchen cart that got all broke up and unusable and wow was I looking forward to using that. So it is a good thing I live alone for that reason. Boxes all over in my kitchen. I have been so busy trying to get all the stuff put away and switching my stuff out with Mom's stuff that I brought here from her condo. Storing it for siblings that aren't near. I did manage to take a day off to go picking blueberries and I just used the last fresh ones in my green smoothie. YUMMY!
So last night I stamped about 6 cards as I needed to make some birthday cards and belated ones at that. GRRRR! I missed a lot of birthdays and I hate that. Anyway I thought I would play along with the ColourQ challenge as I love those colors. So pretty. I saw this card in the Stampin' UP! Catalog that was really plain but thought I would make a card doing that so here it is or rather here they are as I made two cards You can tell me which one you like better.
They both are using the same colors and the Lovely Romance set along with the Best of Greetings set. I
also used the Gorgeous Grunge on the first one and the second one I used the Pretty Print Embossing Folder and the Label Bracket Punch which are going to be available starting tomorrow. So make sure you check out the other creative cards here: http://colourq.blogspot.com and maybe even play along.
Details:
Stamps: Lovely Romance, Gorgeous Grunge, Best of Greetings
Paper, Marina Mist, Midnight Muse, Whisper White
Inks: Midnight Muse, Old Olive, Marina Mist, So Saffron
Tools: Big Shot, Pretty Print Texture Embossing Folder, Label Bracket Punch, Basic Rhinestones, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon
Bless you for stopping by and I hope to be better at posting as it sure felt good to sit down and stamp.

Gorgeous Grunge Retirement Card
Hi Stamping buddies. Oh my this will have to be short and sweet as I am leaving tomorrow to pack up my house and get my stuff moved down here eventually. Today was my cleaning day so I did that and came home to do laundry, pack and water the garden. I need to do a lot of things yet to get ready so this will be brief. I also won't be posting till I return as I am not taking my laptop with to deal with my blog. SO Sorry!
On this card that I made for my wonderful mechanic and friend for his retirement and closing of his shop. I used the Gorgeous Grunge and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set , and I used the Basic Gray, Elegant Eggplant and Night of Navy inks. I did get my Big Shot out with the Bitty Banners Framelits to make the tag. I love that Gorgeous Grunge set don't you?
Well, if you have any questions I hope to get back to you but just email me okay.
Have a great rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by. I never know you stop by if you don't leave a comment.
Happy stamping and scrapping.

CQC195 HELLO LOVELY AND MORNING MEADOW CARD
Good morning stamping peeps. I was up and off this morning to get my haircut as I was feeling really Shaggy. LOL! It is finally a nice sunny morning and I don't even thing it is going to rain. It's my day off so I plan to get a lot done but wanted to get this card posted for the ColourQ challenge first. Then off for my walk.
Isn't this pretty? I love those new Circle Framelits and even though I no longer have Orchid Opulence I played along with Rich Razzleberry. Guess what stamp set I used. LOL! You guessed it, Gorgeous Grunge and made lines through and then just stamped the Morning Meadow bouquet in Basic Gray over it. The Little flowers are made with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and the Owl Punch and then I used my markers to color the Hello Lovely verse. I love how this card turned out. I also used the Stripes EF to mimic the lines of the Gorgeous Grunge stamp. Let me know what you think and make sure you stop by here: http://www.colourq.blogspot.com There are lots of beautiful projects here.
Bless you for stopping by today and I hope you have a terrific day. Email me if you have any questions or if you need or want anything from Stampin' UP! I would be happy to help you. Off to exercise.

Happy Flowers Miss You Card
Happy Hump Day stamping friends, I have a card to share that I sent to my sister after she moved out of state. I used the Hostess set Happy Flowers and also Really Good Greetings and of course Gorgeous Grunge. I know I can hardly make a card with out that set as you know how much I used the Color Spritzer Tool. LOL! I also used the new In colors Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding. I used the new Deco Label Framelits but put it through my Big Shot to make it longer and then trimmed off the edges on the ends to make it a longer tag so my flower would fit on it.
Anyway I hope you are having a terrific day and hopefully feeling better than I am. I went out to eat with my sister last night and must have eaten too much crap as I am not feeling very good today. I must have eaten too much Gluten. ICKY! Anyway thanks for stopping by today. Email me if you have any questions.

Retro Sketch 69 Perfect Blend Card
Good Sunday morning stamping friends. Here is a card I stamped last night using the Perfect Blend stamp set and the cool background stamp Dictionary. These were my two had to haves from the new book. I stamped the to go coffee cup in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White Card Stock and then again on the tag from the Tag A Bag Accessory Kit. I paper Pieced the cup together then after stamping. I textured a piece of Chocolate Chip CS with the new Alphabet Press EF. Then with the new Artisan Label Punch I punched out the greeting. I love how this turned out, don't you. This stamp set is so stinkin' cute. Of course I had to stamp some little coffee splats too using Gorgeous Grunge. :-)
Make sure you check out the other cards for Retrosketches here: http://retrosketches.blogspot.com.au
Thanks for stopping by today. This is what I will be dealing with:
Yes, I picked another 11 pounds of strawberries yesterday. And and can you tell I like coffee. The fabric was what I recovered these chairs with. The berries are really redder than they look. SO GOOD!
Better get to them and let me know if you have any questions. Hugs, Bev

Less is More and Colourq challenge Hexagon card
Hi stamping friends, Happy Tuesday. I guess. I am feeling kind of bad tonight but I will keep it to myself for a bit I guess. I stamped this card tonight for a Hexagon challenge at Simply Less is More and I was afraid since I posted my card yesterday it wouldn't have been good enough. I wanted to cover the Colourq too so I used the Six Sided Sampler again and this time used the new Hostess set Express Yourself and Gorgeous Grunge. After my day today I could really send this card to myself. The Colourq was Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Tempting Turquoise, and Gumball Green but I had to use Real Red instead of Poppy Parade as I sell my old colors since I never have enough room to keep them.
I liked yesterday's card better but wanted to follow the color challenge and the hexagon for the other challenge. It turned out okay I guess. Must be my mood. I hope you check out the other cards for both the challenges and here are the links. Just click on the words.

Flower Shop Thank You
Hi Stamping buddies. It is Friday night and I have a card to share with you. My sister and a longtime friend are here from PA for there reunion. I was supposed to go out with them tonight but I am not feeling the best and haven't all day really so I decided to stay home. We graduated one year apart so we have a lot of the same friends. Anyway, it is a good thing I took off work as my stomach is not feeling good at all and I will probably go to bed after I post this. I am not sure what the deal is. I stamped this card tonight after stamping one ugly card and tore it up and this is the one I came up with. I textured the colored banners with the embossing folders to match that pansy that is patterned. So so cute, don't you think?
I used some new stamps and new punch on this card for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge which was a layout challenge. Banners are such a rage.
Stamps: Flower Shop, Gorgeous Grunge, Regarding Dahlias
Paper: Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Whisper White
Inks: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Pansy Punch, Baker's Twine,Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure you check out the other fantastic cards for this challenge.

I hope you have a terrific weekend. I am heading to Denver to help my sister drive there so we leave this weekend. It will be a short trip. I am sure going to miss her. Oh and some other news, I think my house is sold this time for sure. I signed the purchase agreement so I hope it is a go this time. YIPPPEE!
