TGIF stamping friends, oh it has been chilly in the mornings as I sit her in my jams but I guess the warm temps are going to come back next week. I hope so as the tomatoes aren't doing so good in this cool weather we have been having.
Yesterday morning I picked all these apples at the farm, yes a ton of them. I can't get to my recipes since they are somewhere in my storage unit so I printed one off for apple pie filling but it was the freezer kind. My laptop wouldn't work at Irv's and I forgot my battery charger for my phone so I didn't want to run that down either by checking on the web so I thought oh heck I will just start cutting them up and freeze them. I did 2 quarts was all as I ran out of lemon juice and no vinegar to be found. Forget the apple job and on to fixing supper for us. I wasn't very organized to say the least so will have to try this weekend. I talked to my friend last night and got the recipe I was looking for so now I can be more organized. Just too much on my plate I guess but I did manage to stamp this card yesterday morning. YAY!
My dear BFF has her birthday today, so this is her card and didn't it turn out pretty? I used the sketch for the Retrosketch this week which I just loved. I have wanted to use this set for a bit but haven't gotten it out. I love it though. I used Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Ink and just stamped off on my scratch paper for the first layer of color and then full strength on the top layer of the flowers.
Here is the recipe:
Stamp Sets: Too Kind, Label Love
Card Stock & Papers: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Old Olive, Brights DSP
Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Tools and Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, Artisan Label Punch
Whoops almost forgot this link: http://retrosketches.blogspot.com.au

I hope you have a terrific Friday and I hope to be back sometime this weekend. I am getting excited about my trip to Ohio next week to see a good friend I met at Convention one year. I love this Stampin' Up! job.
Let me know if you have any questions about my card.
Off to get outside. Hugs, Bev

Retro Sketch 69 Perfect Blend Card
Good Sunday morning stamping friends. Here is a card I stamped last night using the Perfect Blend stamp set and the cool background stamp Dictionary. These were my two had to haves from the new book. I stamped the to go coffee cup in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White Card Stock and then again on the tag from the Tag A Bag Accessory Kit. I paper Pieced the cup together then after stamping. I textured a piece of Chocolate Chip CS with the new Alphabet Press EF. Then with the new Artisan Label Punch I punched out the greeting. I love how this turned out, don't you. This stamp set is so stinkin' cute. Of course I had to stamp some little coffee splats too using Gorgeous Grunge. :-)

Thanks for stopping by today. This is what I will be dealing with:
Yes, I picked another 11 pounds of strawberries yesterday. And and can you tell I like coffee. The fabric was what I recovered these chairs with. The berries are really redder than they look. SO GOOD!
Better get to them and let me know if you have any questions. Hugs, Bev

THE OPEN SEA, WHAT A GREAT IDEA.
MONDAY MONDAY, AHH ANOTHER WEEK. Hi stampers, I know back again two days in a row. What is with that? One day to stamp and I tried out the new Magnetic Platform for the Big Shot to hold Framelits in place and I tell ya, you have to buy it. It is so awesome! No more hundreds of post it notes. YAY!
I needed a male birthday card so I followed a couple of card challenges and this is what I came up with. I used the SOHO Subway DSP for my background paper and just used my paper snips to snip between the squares. The stamp set is The Open Sea and the Greeting is what I had on my desk Gifts of Kindness and the framelits were the Circle and Deco Label framelits. Email me know if you have any questions.

Bombs Away and Happy Hour Birthday Card
Happy Hump Day my stamping friends, I hope your week is going good. My hands are sore today as I helped my sister do the final cleaning for her closing today on her house. I think we cleaned for 10 hours and wowza my hands and body are sore! I know she needed my help desperately so I couldn't resist. I was happy I was able to lend her my hands. :-)
Here is a card I stamped for my nephew's birthday who is turning 21 today. Happy Birthday Calvin. I stamped it yesterday morning for the Retrosketch and Color Q card challenge. I love how it turned out. I used the Happy Hour stamp set and the Bombs Away Birthday and Show and Tell 2 Photopolymer stamp sets.
Let me know what you think. I have to get laundry done and get ready for my sister and friend from Pennsylvania to come stay with me for a couple of days. So if I have a chance to stamp anything I will let you know. email me if you have any questions.
