Happy Monday, at least the rain has moved out. Looking at a house again today. UGH tired of that. Just waiting out for the one I really like. Meanwhile I have been reading, riding my bike, exercising (trying to be healthy), and last night I really got into stamping. YAY!
This is a card I made for the http://retrosketches.blogspot.com.au card challenge. I needed a few more Halloween cards so that is the direction I went with the design. I used the Witches Brew DSP and a circle punch for the circles and wow I opened up that DSP pack further than I had done before and I love it. I found this darling Chevron design in there too. How cute is that? Love it! My base is Pumpkin Pie and then Summer Starfruit which I textured with the Chevron EF and corner rounded with the Envelope Punch Board. It tickles me pink when I can use one tool for two things. I looked at the DSP and punched out specific designs out of the DSP for my circles to lay them out. I framed the Chevron design with Basic Black Card Stock and then adhered the circles with Glue Dots. The only stamping I did was the cute tag where I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes. I lined up both ends of the banner and stuck it once again in the Hexagon Punch to make my banner edges from the back side and punched them out. Then I trimmed the other end to be the same. I added a Designer Button and found some Baker's Twine from Primo that was Black and White so put that through my button and Walla, here is my card. I love the way it turned out. Those retro sketches are always so cute I think.
Here are the supplies:
Stamp Sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes 127802 Clear -128748 Wood
Card Stock and Paper: Pumpkin Pie 105117, Summer Starfruit 126839, Witches Brew DSP 132185.
Inks: Basic Black 126980
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot 113439, Chevron Embossing Folder 127749,

Neutrals Designer Buttons 130031, Glue Dots 103683, Snail Adhesive 104332.
I hope you have a nice day, It is beginning to feel like Fall here as it is only 57 degrees. Chilly.

Best of Halloween for Sweet Sunday Sketch
It's Monday again, darn those weekends go fast. Unbelievable! It looks like it is a nice sunny day again and the weather man said last night we haven't had rain for days and won't for the next 10 days either. I have to go water my little garden patch I guess. We are having hot temps again. YAY, I don't like winter and even though I love Fall I know what comes after that. I did notice the neighbor's tree is dropping leaves. Maybe it is from the drought. Oh and good news my Apple Pie Filling sealed. So whoever requested me to show my canning results here it is. LOL!
I stamped this card yesterday for a new layout card challenge I found. I used the Witches Brew Designer Paper for the banners as I would pull out the Summer Starfruit for a kind of not traditional Halloween card. The haunted house is from this month's Best Of Halloween stamp set. Did you know that if you buy six of the Best of Sets you get a free $14.95 set. Yes FREE. So you still have time to buy them but you are running out fast. I am a Halloween nut so I knew I wanted this one. Oh and you have to buy the Circle Framelits and Magnetic Platform! They make card making so easy. I punched the little circles from the Owl Punch and I colored the design in with the ink pads and blender pen after I embossed the image with VersaMark and Blender Pen.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Best Of Halloween, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock and Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Basic Black,Witches' Brew DSP
Inks: Versamark, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit, Blender Pen
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Circles Collection Framelits, Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Owl Builder Punch, Embossing Buddy, Black Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Dimensionals.

Gorgeous Grunge Retirement Card
Hi Stamping buddies. Oh my this will have to be short and sweet as I am leaving tomorrow to pack up my house and get my stuff moved down here eventually. Today was my cleaning day so I did that and came home to do laundry, pack and water the garden. I need to do a lot of things yet to get ready so this will be brief. I also won't be posting till I return as I am not taking my laptop with to deal with my blog. SO Sorry!

I used the Gorgeous Grunge and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set , and I used the Basic Gray, Elegant Eggplant and Night of Navy inks. I did get my Big Shot out with the Bitty Banners Framelits to make the tag. I love that Gorgeous Grunge set don't you?
Well, if you have any questions I hope to get back to you but just email me okay.

Another Button Buddies Card
Happy Monday and I am so excited because Stampin' UP! is supposed to announce something this morning so I want to hurry to post this to check the website. I will be back to let you know what it is. I needed some thank you's for my online ordering and this was one of them. I need to get them mailed out too. Wowza, we had 73 degrees here yesterday and it was a great day. My sister and I got a lot more junk cleaned out of my Mom's condo as we are getting ready to sell it. Lots of work to do. Oh man the stuff she has.
On my card base I used Bashful Blue Card Stock and then another layer that I textured with the Square Lattice EF. I used the Perfect Pennants Die with River Rock Card Stock and then stamped the flower right on it. I had a piece of Bashful Blue DSP sitting on my table so I used the Hearts A Flutter Framelits and cut out two and then one of River Rock Card Stock and stamped Thank You from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Bashful Blue Ink too. I stapled those banners to the card front and used my Marker and the Color Spritzer Tool to spritz the naked part of my card. I added a Naturals button that I strung Baker's Twine through it. Very easy card!
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Button Buddies, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Bashful Blue, River Rock, Bashful Blue DSP Stack
Inks: Bashful Blue Ink Pad and Marker
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Hearts A Flutter Framelits, Perfect Pennants Die, Color Spritzer Tool, Naturals Button, White Bakers Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Staples
Thank you for stopping by and I hope your week starts out great!

SU Spring Sampler Easter Card
Hello again stamping buddies, I told you today is Wacky Wednesday so I thought I would share this not so cute card I stamped. LOL! It by all means is not my favorite but I stamped it so here it is. I thought this would be my Easter card but.... NOT! it ain't happening. I will make a much cuter one for Easter. This was for the Paper Player's challenge this week which is over in a couple of days. YIKES!
I used the Spring Sampler stamp set and I love these little stamps because they make up sweet cards. That is if you make a cuter card. TEE HEE! My card base is Rich Razzleberry with Whisper White, Summer Starfruit and the "Free" Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper that you can get for a Sale-A-Bration gift with purchase for just a couple more days. I hate to see Sale-A-Bration coming to an end. I took the Vine Street Texture Folder and embossed Summer Starfruit Card Stock and made my border on the top with a strip of the Sycamore Street DSP and added a button that is also from the SAB flyer. Then I punched out squares with my 1-1/4" Square Punch. I stamped the images from the Spring Sampler set in Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, and Pool Party on Whisper White Card Stock and punched them out with the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I snailed the squares down and put a dimensional under the images. Then I used the new Polymer Stamp Set is NEW and available now called Designer Typeset item 132956 for $13.95 and stamped one of the many images in Rich Razzleberry and then fussy cut it out. Then I stamped the little banner in that set in Tangerine Tango and used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the Happy Easter. I am just not that crazy about my card, are you?
Thanks again for stopping by. I have to get ready for Zumba. Happy stamping. Hugs, Bev
