Remember when you watercolored as a kid?

Well hello strangers. Yes, I know it has been forever. I apologize for missing in action but the desire to blog or even stamp has really not been there. I am hoping and praying it comes back soon. The holidays are over (Thank God). They were difficult to say the least without Mom. Anyway, it is a new day, a new year and this year is going to be a great one. I just know it. I have faith that it will be.

So do you remember those little watercolor strips of color and cheap bristle brushes in those watercolor sets as a kid? Well it just became a whole lot easier even though I actually think they still sell them.  Well, this new Occasions Catalog is the bomb with new beautiful things. This card uses a set called Happy Watercolor which I love. This was a card I stamped for my sister as her gift of cards.  The Card Stock was Wisteria Wonder and Very Vanilla. The ribbon was retired.  I simply stamped the flower in Early Espresso and then with the watercolor blob stamp I stamped in Wisteria Wonder and stamped the greeting in a retired set in Wisteria Wonder ink. I added some pearls to the middle of the flower and walla I was done. Very quick and easy but pretty I think, don't you?

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: Happy Watercolor 133191 Clear, 133188 Wood
Card Stock: Wisteria Wonder 122922, Very Vanilla 101650
Inks: Wisteria Wonder 126985, Early Espresso 126974
Tools and Accessories: Pearls Basic Jewels 119247, Snail Adhesive 104331

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day. We are so frozen outside that it is miserable and dangerous to go outside but I have been on a weight loss battle so haven't been just sitting around either. Move it move it you know. LOL! Have a blessed day and I hope to be back soon.
Hugs, Bev

  1. We all need some down time from blogging and cards, it's understandable at this time of the year and then not having your Mom too, it will come back! Cute card, tfs!
