Well hello stamping friends! Well, I have been busy but not moving. I couldn't find enough help this busy holiday weekend so instead I went and picked cherries and hung out with my brother and his girl since he was in town from Wisconsin. I am really glad I stayed here. I needed to stamp this card for a family in MN that lost their son to Leukemia. So sad as he fought it for years. My heart really bleeds for them. I used the Beautifully Baroque EF with the Oval Collections Framelits. The Stamps are Backyard Basics and Petite Pairs. The colors are Perfect Plum and Wild Wasabi and Naturals Ivory. I used my blender pens to color the floral design. This set does have a matching Framelit available and you can purchase it as a bundle with a great discount. Don't we all love those discounts? Let me know if you have any questions on my card.
Anyway, this is what I dealt with yesterday. UGH!
First to pick all those cherries and then to wash, pit, and freeze them was a job, let me tell you but so good for you health wise and so tasty too. I was going to go pick blueberries today (the easiest fruit to deal with) and after meeting my brother and sister for breakfast it was going to be too late of a start to pick in the heat of the day. So I will go some day this week.
Anyway, I better get out to clean out my car. I have tons of boxes in the back seat that I need to straighten out and really get ready to go the third week of July. I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by. Let me know if you need anything from Stampin' Up! as I am always happy to help.
Hugs and Happy Stamping and Scrapping. Bev
What a really beautiful card, Bev. Love the way you colored it.
