Yes Your'e Amazing

Happy Monday stamping friends, I just realized that  May is coming fast. I can't believe it, where is the time going? My family is coming this weekend to clear stuff out of Mom's to get it ready to sell and I need to think about packing up my boxes of stamp stuff to put in the garage I guess. I have been calling on places to move to but  I haven't found anything yet. It will be nice to see my siblings that don't live around here too. The forsythia is almost in full bloom in front of Mom's and it is so pretty. I will have to share a picture with you when it gets full.

On to my card. I stamped this card for the Clean & Simple card challenge and since this Not Quite Navy is being retired....(let me get a tissue to wipe my tears), I figured I might as well make up some male looking cards.  My base is Not Quite Navy and Ivory Naturals next and then two strips of Parker's Patterns DSP from the Spring Catalog which has such rich beautiful colors. You should buy it before it is gone. Then I took a strip of Not Quite Navy and textured it on my Big Shot with the Chevron EF. I stamped the Elephant from the Your'e Amazing  Stamp Set twice. I cut out the Early espresso one with the Label Framelits and then just cut out the party hat on the Not Quite Navy inked one. I stamped the oh happy Day from my favorite SAB Set Bloomin' Marvelous that is retired now and then popped it up with Dimensionals that I cut down. I made a banner with for my Teeny Tiny Wishes greeting and then stamped off to stamp some party hats on that too. I sponged around the edges everywhere. I thought it turned out cute, don't you?

Thank you for stopping by and just shoot me an email if you have any questions about my card.
Have a blessed day. Hugs, Bev
I hope you will play along with this challenge too and here is the link: http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/

  1. I never ordered that paper cause I didn't know if I would use it or not! But it looks so good on this card! Great job!

  2. Thanks so much for your lovely comments Bev.
I love this card (and I love Night Quite Navy too!). I particularly like the way you have stamped the little party hats behind the Happy Birthday Banner and used the chevron folder to add interest and repeat the pattern from the dsp above it. Goodness that was a long sentence! hehe. Hope you find somewhere soon and have fun with your family. Vx
