Stampin' UP! Harvest Blessings Card

Happy TGIF stamping friends, are you all ready for Spring Break? I guess I am but not going anywhere special like a lot of people. Anyway a lot of my siblings are. Even my God Son is going to Hawaii! How nice is that? His girlfriend's Mom is taking him. She must really like him. He is a great kid. It was really a nice day here yesterday and supposed to be in the 50's today but maybe a chance of snow tonight. Crazy weather. I gotta tell ya. I got another drawer of Mom's emptied out and most of the stuff I threw away. Some of the stuff I kept to see if my siblings wanted it or wanted me to do something with it.

On my card, I stamped for a green card challenge and used the Harvest Blessing set with the Poetry Print DSP Stack from the Spring Catalog. When I cut the DSP down to the size I wanted I had a little strip left over but it didn't reach the whole width of the card. The side you see is the other side of the main piece of the designer series paper. Anyway I had already stamped the tractor and the greeting and die cut it with the Label Frames Framelits so I cut my trim piece in half and snailed it down on the edge of each side and you can't even tell it doesn't go the whole way because my framelit cut out covers most of it up. I know, so sneaky right? No waste here. LOL! I stamped the tractor in Gumball Green ink and the "so many smiles" stamp from the Petite Pairs stamp set in Summer Starfruit ink. I used the Festive Paper Piercing Pack which is 127857 for $7.95 carried over from the Holiday Catalog. I sponged around the edge with the Summer Starfruit ink and tied some Linen Thread around it and stuck it on with Stampin' Dimesionals. I made this card for a new friend of mine that is a farmer. I hope he'll like it.....I do. I like him too. Sweet farmer guy. Tee Hee! Yep my new sweetheart. :)
