SU Love and Sympathy Card

Hello stamping friends, I sure had a busy day today but got some laundry done, Thanksgiving cards for my family ready to mail.  I cleaned up my house a bit and got my party materials all put away for now.  I had stamped this card when I was at my hunters weekend stamp day but hadn't put it all together. I love how it turned out and didn't think I would need it so soon but I did. I love how it turned out, don't you? I used my Perfect Plum and Wild Wasabi Markers to color the flowers. I love that set so much even though it is for a sad occasion.  My Mom is not feeling the best right now either and having a hard time breathing. I am asking for your prayers that she gets better. It brings tears to my eyes just writing this.

I die cut a retired oval die from the ovals die and stamped the floral image after using marker to stamp technique and then colored my stamp again and stamped in on a scrap of Very Vanilla and punched it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch and layered it with Dimensionals lining it up perfectly over the die cut oval. I sponged around all the edges with Perfect Plum and then used an old sympathy set to make my banner. I thought it turned out so beautiful and elegant.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Love and Sympathy
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum
Inks: Perfect Plum Ink Pad and Marker, Wild Wasabi, Marker
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Ovals Die(retired), Holiday Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Extra Large Oval Punch, Sponge, Dimensionals

I hope you had a terrific weekend and leave me a comment and let me know how you like my card if you would. Please email me if you have any questions. I am really looking forward to a short work week thanks to Thanksgiving. Yippee! I hope I get some stamping  time in. I have a lot to do however.
Have a lovely night and bless you again for stopping by.
Hugs, Bev
