Easy Events Baby card for CASOLOGY and COLOURQ Challenges

Good Wednesday morning to you. Yay! Aly Raisman won the Gold medal in Floor Exercise in gymnastics. Just having my cup of Joe. It looks like it is going to rain and I need to mow some today. Oh well, today I have a baby card to share with you. I needed to give a gift to a gal here in town that had a baby boy a while ago and have never done it so when this Casology pond challenge came out I knew what I was going to do and it worked perfect with the Colourq challenge this week too. It is a chilly but sunny day here today and I have a busy day. I have a lot of yard work to do so will make this quick. I hope to hear from my sister Karen about her husband but they probably won't find out much yet. I am still asking for prayers. Thank you!

I used the Large Scallop Edgelits to make my waves and then stamped my little ducky and colored it in with Summer Starfruit. I used my Midnight Muse Marker to color the "for baby" and made a little banner for that. I added a pearl that I colored with the Midnight Muse Marker for his eye. I wanted to add a ribbon because it is a challenge for me to be simple but here it is. I think it turned out okay, don't you?

Here is the details:
Stamp Sets: Easy Events
Card Stock: Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, Whisper White
Inks: Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, Certainly Celery, Summer Starfruit
Tools: Big Shot, Large Scallop Edgelits, Blender Pen, Sponge, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping my to check out my blog. Please check out the other stampers at these challenges.
Hugs, Bev

  7. Well, isn't this little duck a cutie! Great "pond" idea---I was more thinking along the line of a frog, but of course, ducks swim on ponds!!! She'll love it! Thanks for joining us at the CQC this week!
