TGIF stamping friends, are you as happy as I am that it is Friday? I had to make a quick card for my nephew's fiance' this morning before work. I waited till the last minute to get it ready and the shower is tomorrow but I am not going to make it. It is in Iowa and I am in Minnesota and I have to work tomorrow since it is Graduation here at the high school as I have to work. I felt bad that I missed it and now my card will be late. Darn it Ha you know what, I wonder if I even signed the darn card. OH BOY am I a goofball.I better call my sister. Reed deserves so much better than that. I sent it to my sister's house as that is where the shower is going to be. I used an old old set that I kept that was called Big on Spring. This was a set that I couldn't get rid of. You know those kind of sets. They are like a forever friend or an old pair of shoes that you can't get rid of. LOL!
I used the new In Colors as her colors are Navy and some other but I made it the same as her invite with Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit. I love those new In Colors. I stamped the swirly stamp in the set Wedding Sweet with Midnight Muse ink and then
used the Manhattan Flower die to texture the background a bit. Oh, how I am anxious for the new catalog, aren't you? 13 days but who is counting? LOL! It got really hot here today and I am hoping for rain but I need to go check the forecast as I have to go water the garden if it won't rain. So much to do and so little time.
Here are the details for my card:
Stamp Sets: Big On Spring, Wedding Sweet
Card Stock: Midnight Muse,Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
Inks: Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit Marker
Accessories: Big Shot, Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Basic Pearls, Mini Glue Dots.
I hope you like my card today and thank you for stopping by. Have a great weekend and next week I think I will start showing you some ideas for Father's day cards. I better check the weather and maybe have to get outside. Hugs, Bev
