Good Monday morning stamping friends. I survived the blizzard that came through yesterday. We got about 5 or 6 inches of snow and I just went out to mail my Valentines and wow the wind is still howling and blowing to beat the band. Back home they only got rain. I can't wait to move back to the Davenport. I have some names of people that could be prospects for selling my home so I am still praying for a buyer. One day at a time. I have been stamping again but my battery died last weekend for my camera so I haven't been able to take pictures of my cards. :( Oh the conveniences of living in town.
This was a thank you card I sent to two of my sisters for their early birthday gifts. I used the darling Vine Street Embossing Folder and the the flower from the Bloomin' Marvelous set and these are available in the Sale-A-Bration Flyer. Get one FREE with a $50.00 purchase. Yes Free. Let me know if you need the flyer. The Old Olive card stock is die cut from the Hearts A Flutter and Apothecary Accents Framelits. Then I punched out the flowers with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch. The thank you comes from the Hostess Wacky Wishes stamp set.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Bloomin' Marvelous, Wacky Wishes
Card Stock: Melon Mambo. Old Olive, Whisper White
Inks: Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Vine Street Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Hearts A Flutter Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals.
I hope you have a terrific day and bless you for stopping by. I won't be back till I get a battery for my camera. :(

Stampin' UP! World Treasures Thank You
Hi stamping peeps! NOT TGIF! Jeepers Friday already? My vacation is going so fast. Crap! Today is the wedding and last night we had the rehearsal dinner. Very nice to see everyone. There was about 50 people at the restaurant I think. Our family is big and so is my brother in laws. Then add the bridesmaids and groomsman and it makes a huge party. It has been raining cats and dogs for days. I hope it stops today. I have been doing Zumba with my sister except for today.
Anyway, this is a thank you card I stamped quick as a Thank You for a customer that placed an order and she has peacocks. She doesn't have a new catalog yet so I wanted her to see this World Treasures stamp set. I used Pacific Point ink pad and my markers to color the peacock.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: World Treasures, Wacky Wishes
Card Stock: Pacific Point, Naturals White
Inks: Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade Marker
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Round Designer Ribbon Slides, 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Sponge, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.
I hope you have a great day and bless you for stopping by. Let me know if you want to join my team or shop here 24/7: www.funtostamp.stampinup.net

Another Scentsational Season Card
Hi stamping buddies, Happy World Card Making Day. Yay, it is the weekend too! I hope you get some stamping time in this weekend. I got up and started laundry. It is still dark out so not sure but I don't hear the wind howling anymore. I have a party tomorrow and I am so excited to do it as most of my customers up here camp every weekend so now that that summer is over my business really vamps up. Then next week I start packing to go home for my dear nephew Elliot's wedding. I am honored to get to do the reading in his wedding. It will be so nice to get home. I sure miss my family.
I am just sharing with you a no challenge card this morning and wanted to share the rest of my last meeting cards. On this card I used the Scentsational Season stamp set and the Hostess Wacky Wishes stamp set. I stamped this card and put it in my post later pile. It is very simple but cute, don't you think?
My base card is Gumball Green and my top layer is Whisper White that I textured with the Delicate Designs EF. I embossed the little tree with Gumball Green Embossing Powder and die cut it with the Holiday Framelits and attached it with a dimensional. I die cut the star with Daffodil Delight card stock and also used the Holiday Framelits. I stamped the greeting in Real Red ink and then I used the Color Spritzer with my Gumball Green Marker on the background. Easy Peasy card but still cute.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Scentsational Season, Wacky Wishes
Card Stock: Gumball Green, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Inks: Read Red, Gumball Green Ink Pad and Marker
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Holiday Framelits, Color Spritzer, Gumball Green Embossing Powder, Dimensionals.
I hope you have a terrific weekend. Mine will be busy. Bless you for stopping by and I love all the comments. Have a honey of a day. Hugs, Bev

Spooky Bingo Bits Halloween card for City Crafter Challenge
Hi stamping buddies, just buzzing by with a Halloween card for you on this Friday morning. TGIF! Finally Friday. I sure had a long day at work yesterday and came home exhausted. I have been invaded by those dang Asian Beetles. Stinky bugs when you kill them. YUCK! I did manage to stamp this card last night in between smashing those bugs. LOL! I saw the similar layout from an idea in the Archiver's ad. I stamped this really quick except I died the Baker's twine with my Tangerine Tango Ink Refill and man were my fingers messy. It took a while to dry but I love how it turned out to match exactly, don't you. I washed my hands really good but I still have a bit of it on my fingers this morning. LOL! I get to work my normal 7 to 4 shift today so I better get going. I looked at my card and these Googly Eyes just make me giggle.
The base of my card is Tangerine Tango and I used the Howlsworth and Scaringbone DSP and used the Finishing Touch Edgelits to cut the bottom of that DSP but your can't really tell it in my picture. I made a banner with the greeting from the Wacky Wishes. I stamped it in Basic Gray ink and then added a googly eye to the "O" in Halloween. I stamped the Spooky Bingo Bits in Basic Black and Tangerine Tango ink on Whisper White and then punched each one out with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch. I popped them up with dimensionals and then again added the Googly Eyes to the skeleton head on the bottom. So besides the dying of the bakers twine it was a pretty fast card. I hope you will let me know if you like it or not.
I stamped this for the City Crafter Challenge so make sure you check out the other cards there which are Halloween Cards: http://citycrafter.blogspot.com/
I pray you have a honey of a day and let me know if you have any questions on my card. If I can be of any assistance on shopping for Stampin' UP products make sure you let me know or shop 24/7 on my shop now button. Live Laugh Love Stamp! Hugs, Bev

Googly Ghouls Halloween Card
Good morning stamping buddies, I hope you have a terrific Thursday. I have a headache it feels like. I have to work the late shift today so have time to post this. ARGH, late last night a friend called me to see if I needed tomatoes. Just shoot me okay, because I told her yes. So her and her husband brought over 3 flats of them. They are really nice and big and ripe so I can blanch them Friday night and can this coming weekend. Then I am done, if I have them finished or not. I can take some home with me I suppose to eat but they might not last that long. I don't leave until the 12th or 13th so I am not sure if they will still be good.
I made this card for Unscripted Sketches and Freshly Made Sketch if they will except it. My border goes the opposite way so I hope it will be okay. They can always boot me out if not. I used the Basic Black for my card base and layered the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP on top of that. Then I stamped the Border Banter words in Basic Black and then the Chevron stamp in More Mustard on More Mustard Card Stock. Then on Very Vanilla Card Stock I stamped the mummy from Googly Ghouls stamp set in Basic Black ink and then the greeting in More Mustard and that is from the Wacky Wishes stamp set. I die cut that out with the Labels Collection Framelits and sponged around it in Basic Black ink. I added a googly eye from the Googlies. Then I tied a bow with the Striped Satin Ribbon and attached it with mini Glue Dots. It was really a very easy card.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Googly Ghouls, Wacky Wishes, Border Banter
Card Stock: Basic Black, More Mustard, Very Vanilla, Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP
Inks: Basic Black, More Mustard
Accessories and Tools: Big Shot, Labels Collection Framelits, 1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon, Googly Eyes, Sponge, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.
Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know if you like my card. Live, Love, Laugh, Stamp!

Postage Due Birthday for Retro Sketch Challenge
Hello again stamping friends, I have another card to share that I stamped tonight for the Retro Sketch Challenge. I had a busy day today but I got my filthy car washed and that took me awhile as it hasn't been washed in weeks. The dirt was so thick on my back bumper it was ridiculous. I washed the windows and dusted inside. I just didn't want to vacuum it out and get that gravel in my vacuum. I will have to do that at a public place. I have laundry in and tomorrow is my late day so I figured I will be up a bit later today. I did go back to bed this morning and slept till 7: 30. I took my recruit friend her birthday gift and then came back home and did some junk around here and then went out to wash my car. It was a beautiful day with no wind. This weekend I better cut back the flowers around the house. Then I will be done outside for the year.
I wanted to get in this sketch and it was a very basic stamped card with a banner. You know me I have to have ribbon but hey I didn't use the Big Shot on this card. On my card base which is Rose Red I stamped the En Francais background stamp. On my second layer I used the Naturals White and stamped the Postage Due in the middle of my card and the I used the Travel Journal Builder Wheel on the top and the bottom of the main image. I sponged around my card and then added a tag. I wheeled the Travel Journal Wheel sort of lightly on my tag and then Stamped Happy Birthday from Wacky Wishes over that. I added a Round Designer Ribbon Slide with the Rose Red Seam Binding that I crumpled up and attached it by the banner. Very Easy Peasy card!
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Postage Due, Wacky Wishes , Travel Journal Builder Wheel
Card Stock: Rose Red, Naturals White
Inks: Rose Red, Basic Black
Tools and Accessories: Seam Binding, Round Designer Ribbon Slides, Jumbo Wheel Handle and Sprockets, Sponge, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.
Please let me know what you think of my card by leaving a comment. I hope you have a great Thursday and I will be back soon. Hugs, Bev

HAPPY 4TH Card
Happy 4th friends, I hope you have a happy and safe holiday shared with friends and loved ones. I just stamped this card in honor of the 4th. What is more American than the cherry? I wanted the background to kind of look like fireworks or something so I used this EF called Flurry I believe and it was in our last years holiday mini and I just looked up the name of it in our newest catalog and to my surprise it didn't get carried over. WHAAAA! I just realized that. I love it so I will keep it but just know you can't purchase it any more. SO SORRY! I try to post only current merchandise so I apologize about that. I was trying to think what I had for a Happy 4th and my sets were all discontinued so I used the Wacky Wishes Hostess set with my marker and Memorable Moments to stamp the 4TH. The cherries come from the Mouthwatering set and don't they look yummy?
It has been so scorching hot and I think my mojo got overheated. LOL! I don't have air, and with my house for sale I didn't want to spend money on it and am not too fond of those window units. I have a very busy month and will be traveling anyway for the last half of the month to spend some treasured time with my family. I work about every day till I leave on the 13th and will be down in Iowa till the first of August. I am not sure how much I will be posting but hopefully I can get a bit of stamping in to share with you. Here is a tip for you, did you know that the blender pen will take ink off of your stamp. I stamped this cherry on the edge of my ink pad and got a little bit of the cherry cobbler ink on the stem. I wiped it off with my finger somewhat but wanted it totally clean so took my blender pen over the stem and it picked up the rest of the ink.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Wacky Wishes, Memorable Moments, Mouthwatering
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla
Inks: Night Of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green Marker, Blender Pen
Tools: Big Shot, Flurry EF, Framelits Labels, Cherry Cobbler 1/2 Scallop Dots Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Sponge, Dimensionals
I hope you have a terrific day and it looks like we may get rain. I hope so anyway. Maybe it will cool down then. Thanks for stopping by. Now remember to create something cute and bee happy. Hugs, Bev

Happy Birthday with Reason To Smile from Stampin' UP!
Hi friends, Don't recognize this set that I used? OMG, this is the cutest set that is called Reason To Smile and the July Stampin' UP! special gives me a reason to smile. In July, you can earn this set for only $5 with a $50.00 purchase. It is a set of 7 stamps and I will be making some more cards in the future with it so keep checking back. I got the set for only $5.00 and thought about do I really need it but it is so cute. I have some great cards in mind for it so come back often. I stamped the flowers in Baja Breeze, Summer Starfuit, and Primrose Petals and it is a 2 step stamp but I didn't want to get the top image right on the bottom. Then I embossed the middle of the card stock with the Delicate Designs Embossing folder. I tied the Linen Thread around it and tied a bow. The words are a Hostess Set called Wacky Wishes and I stamped those in black. There are so many good deals at Stampin' Up! right now it is hard to keep them straight. Recruits, Hostesses and Customers are all getting a great deal whichever you do. Check out my website for details.

Thank You card
TGIF stamping friends. I hope you all have a great holiday weekend and let us keep those fond memories of loved ones in a special place in our hearts. I wanted to go tent camping this weekend but it is supposed to be cold and wet so I decided to go to work tomorrow instead. I didn't have anyone to go camping with anyway. I hope you have some great plans for your long weekend. I want to apologize for not posting anything for a couple of days. I have been tired so came home last night and checked my email and went to lay down and slept all night practically. My life is stressful right now with a lot of stuff going on at work and other things.
This was my swap card for my meeting and I used the new stamp set Papaya Collage and a new Hostess Set Wacky Words plus the new Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies. I sort of tried to make this look like a window with the view of the leaves out the window. I stamped the image in two greens and then popped up the piece of Wild Wasabi Card Stock with Dimensionals. I wanted to show you the rest of the cards but the battery is dead in my camera. Yes, I am not surprised as it is the way my life is going these days. I found out a squirrel chewed through the wiring on my car and that is what is wrong with it. I tell you I think I will move back to city where I can have a garage.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Papaya Collage, Wacky Wishes
Card Stock: Naturals Ivory, Wild Wasabi
Inks: Wild Wasabi, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Lucky Limeade Bakers Twine, Sponge, Dimensionals.
I hope to get a battery tomorrow so I can show you the rest of the swaps from my down line meeting. We also did a Make and Take so will show you that to when I can get a picture of it. Have a great weekend and June 1st will be here before we know it when the new catalog starts. YAY! I can't wait. Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs, Bev
