Everything Eleanor and Flowering Flourishes Wedding Card

Happy Tuesday friends. Well, the blizzard has moved on out but left us with another 4 or 5 inches of snow. I see the plow went by but now I need my plow guy to do my yard so I can get out. There is a big piles of snow by both my entrances and I know I can't get through let alone the mailman and my UPS gal. I did get some of my packing done for my stamp stuff and went through a lot of stuff and got rid of a lot and packed a lot. Then of course this morning I got up in the wee hours and couldn't go back to sleep and had a card idea in my head so I got up to stamp. Well of course I wanted a punch that I had packed. I knew that would happen but where do you start packing?   LOL! Then did you watch the Bachelor? Why did he kick of Desiree? She really loves Sean and I thought he should have gotten rid of Catherine. Oh well, it is his life not mine. Tee Hee Hee!

This was another card from my party on Sunday and I love the way it turned out. So pretty! Don't you just love how the Apothecary Framelits fits the stamp from the Everything Eleanor stamp set? I sure do. Now there is a flourish in that set but I like the one in the Flowering Flourishes better. It is dressier and not so big. I  stamped the flower and fussy cut that out and colored it with my Blender Pen. It was really a quick card as most of my cards were this time. The Big Shot makes it so easy for me sometime.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Everything Eleanor, Flowering Flourishes, Sweet Essentials
Card Stock: Pretty In Pink, Whisper Whites
Inks: Pretty In Pink, Rich Razzleberry
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Blender Pen, Dimensionals
Have a great day, I need to  stamp a few more cards as there are a couple of benefits for a couple of guys here in Grygla but they are right after I leave so I thought I could give them some cards to donate for the auction. Busy busy!
Thanks for stopping by today and have an amazing day. LIVE LOVE LAUGH STAMP! Hugs, Bev

Summer Silhouettes Thinking Of You like a Kleenex box

Good morning stamping friends, I may be goofy but come on laughter is the best medicine. Last night I was talking to my Mom and grabbed for the Kleenex box and thought to myself........does STAMPIN ' UP! design for Kleenex now? Okay wait a minute now,  look at my card using the Summer Silhouettes stamp set and look at my card. Pretty darn close don't you think?  I started laughing and my Mom wondered what was so funny. When I noticed the box I wanted to make this card and new what set it mimicked.  The colors are pretty close and I think if I would have used Calypso Coral it would have been closer than the Tangerine Tango or maybe even Pumpkin Pie. I know I just had to do it. LOL! This is Bev's color spotting card challenge....okay just kidding. Can you tell I am feeling better? Back to my goofy self.  Or maybe I am high on the drugs from my doctor. LOL!

I have my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack today but only a couple gals are coming so it will be relaxing and fun. Two of my regular stamping customers and they both are just a hoot when we get together. We laugh so hard. On my card I made the base Basic Gray. Then a layer of Gumball Green card stock that I stamped that border that comes in this set all around the edges and then I textured it with the Argyle EF with the rough side down. Then I tied some of the Stitched Satin Ribbon around and of course put a ribbon slide on it. Geesh can't hardly make a card without those can I?  I made a tag to stamp Thinking of You with the Sweet Essentials set but it doesn't show up to good in my pic.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Summer Silhouettes, Sweet Essentials
Card Stock: Basic Gray, Gumball Green, Whisper White
Inks: Basic Gray, Going Gray(discontinued), Gumball Green, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango
Tools: Big Shot, Argyle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Round Designer Ribbon Slides, Dimensionals.
Make sure you let me know what your think of my color spotting challenge. I hope you have a terrific weekend and if I can help you with any of your stamping needs please don't hesitate to ask. I would love to take care of you. Live, Laugh,  Stamp! Hugs, Bev

Reason To Smile Fruit Card

Hi Stamping Friends. GOT FRUIT? LOL! If anyone knows me personally they know I hate glitter but used it on this card that I cased from Erin Gonzales at www.handstampedstyle.com and she told me I could case her card so check out hers as it's very cute.  I stamped the flower from Reason To Smile on Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, and Tangerine Tango and then punched them out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. Then I scored them in half and cut on the score line. Then I used my White Gel Pen to make the pith of the fruit and then used my marker to darken some of the petals like seeds and then use my 2 Way Glue Pen and added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the seeds. It looks much cuter in person. I used the Apothecary Accents Framelit to cut out the Whisper White card stock and then used the Argyle EF and sponged around it. I used the Sweet Essentials Stamp Set and used my marker to color just the So ----Of  You so I could use the Fabulous Phrases word set with Sweet and cut it out with the Jewelry Tag Punch and then cut off the tab and stuck a mini glue dot under it to say so sweet of you. I used mini glue dots to also hold down the ribbon as I didn't tie it around my card, I just laid it down the width of the card. Do you like it?

This could be a card to give a friend that was nice to you or someone that did a favor for you.Everyone loves getting a hand stamped card.  I know exactly who I am going to give this card too.  I hope you like it and have gotten this set for $5.00. If not you better get it. Click on my order now button and order $50.00 and get the set for $5 using the code 131275. I have used the heck out of this set and love it.

Thinking of You Card with For The Birds from Stampin' UP!

Good morning friends. Happy Monday and I hope you had a nice weekend. I had a busy Sunday after I got home from church and got a nap in to get rid of my headache, I worked on my swap cards for my down line meeting Tuesday night and I have been wanting to stamp a card for my girlfriend that has cancer. Please stop for a minute and say a prayer for Cindy if you would. She has not been doing good. She lives in my home town and I can't wait to get back to see her. We were having storms around here last night. I have had the TV on watching the NBS finals (GO OKLAHOMA) but they lost. The weather had been threatening thunderstorms with hail. YIKES! I went to bed after the news so not sure what happened. I was out like the light. I will find out when I go to work this morning I guess.

On this card I used the top note die and then used one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits to cut out the middle of it matching up the points. Then I stamped one of the darling birds in this wonderful set For The Birds on Whisper White card stock that I snailed down under the cutout in the top note. Isn't this nest cute? I just cut up thin strips of  card stock and used Tom Bow glue to glue them down and I used my markers to color the design. I thought it came out so sweet. YILM! I know Cindy will think it is cute. She deserves cute let me tell you. She has really been through it with cancer. I hate that word by the way.

I better get going to work so I hope you all have a blessed day. Thank you for stopping by and hope you have time to create something cute.    Hugs, Bev

Serene Silhouettes Thinking of You from Stampin' UP!

Tee Hee surprise here I am again today friends, and yes I have another post for you. Yea, it is a kind of a whacky Wednesday here so I thought I would show you the cards I made with Serene Silhouettes and Sweet Essentials stamps. I am trying to figure out what card I am going to do for convention swaps and can't decide which one to do over and over. I know it won't be this one with the dahlias. For obvious reasons. LOL! This was really an easy card  and I thought it came out sweet, don't you?

On this card I used my markers to color the stamp and then I added the darling In Color Dahlias with mini glue dots. I used the Fancy Fan Texture Folder on the base of my card and the Finishing Touches Edgelits on my Whisper White layer with Raspberry Ripple card stock. Oh man I need to go take a nap. I got woke up by farm machinery spraying early this morning. Hey did you go to my Facebook page under my Bev's Stamping Spot and like the page for a chance in my blog candy. It ends this Friday.

Here are the details:
