Serene Silhouettes Halloween Card for Dynamic Duos

Hi there, okee dokee you know what I have been doing today. LOL! Yes, I want to get this posted tonight for the Dynamic Duo's because tomorrow I work late and have to do tomatoes. I didn't feel like it tonight. I decided to do this River Rock and Black Dynamic Duo Color Challenge and make a Halloween card.  I know out the Serene Silhouettes stamp set. Go figure, huh?  Eek my mind is warped. LOL!  I used 3 sets on this card and after I stamp the inside it will be 4. This stamp reminds me of that Alfred Hitchcock movie. Did you ever see it? The Birds. Oh man, I can remember it clear as mud. When I was a teenager I was babysitting and that movie came on and I watched it and I was so darn scared I couldn't wait for the parents to come home so I could get home to get under my covers and hide. Spooky!

My base card stock is Basic Black and then I layered a piece of River Rock that I had textured with the Lacy Brocade EF. Then I tied some Black Scallop Dots Ribbon around it with the dot side down. I cut out a shape from the Window Frames Collection of Framelits and textured that also with the Lacy Brocade EF. I stamped the Serene Silhouette stamp in black ink onto River Rock Card Stock and punched it out with the 2-1/2" Circle Punch. Then I stamped the Eeek from the Spooky Bingo Bits and attached that to the Window Frame die cut. Then I stamped the witches and goblins stamp from Toxic Treats and cut it out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits but once again it was to little so I moved the bottom of the framelit up and put it through again centering it into the framelit. It made a cute tag don't you think? I used the Paper Piercing Tool and Mat and made a hole for my Black Brad. I sponged around that piece and the circle and called it good.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Serene Silhouettes, Spooky Bingo Bits, Toxic Treats
Card Stock: Basic Black, River Rock
Inks: Basic Black
Tools: Big Shot, Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Window Frames Collection Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, 3/16" Brads in Neutrals, 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely Monday. Dang, I hope I don't have nightmares now thinking about that movie. Hugs, Bev

Happy Birthday with Serene Silhouettes from SU

Good morning friends, I see it had rained last night or this morning but the sun is shining now. YAY! I need some sunshine. This card I made the other day when I was  playing with the Serene Silhouettes set and this is a bright sweet card to bring someone sunshine on their birthday. Don't you think? I used the Calypso Coral card stock and then textured the middle with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder to give some texture to it. I punched the circle out with the 1-3/4" punch and then the Daffodil Delight card stock is cut out with the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits Dies.  I think the tag is so pretty too. I used the Bitty Banners Framelits and then stamped the Happy Birthday and over that I stamped the Serene Silhouette stamp but I stamped off on scrap paper first. Then I used my markers to color in the white space. It really is cute in person. I promise. Tee Hee Hee.

So did you watch the Batchelorette last night?  Wow, she kicked off both of the one on one dates and  YAY Ryan was one of them. He was so arrogant I couldn't stand him. I liked the other one but they just didn't have the chemistry I guess. Croatia looked cool though and it would be interesting to visit there. Next week is going to be in  Prague and looks like Arie is going to be in trouble. Yikes, looks like he was a bad boy. LOL! Today I have to finish on my swap cards and figure out a Make and Take for my meeting tonight. Busy Busy. Yes, the coon was stalking my place again last night but can't get into the feed anymore. I see he knocked a bird feeder over though.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Serene Silhouettes, From the Heart
Card Stock: Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Inks: Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight Marker, Baja Breeze Marker
Tools: Big Shot, Delicate Delight Textured Embossing Folder, Delicate Doilies Sizzlit Dies, Bitty Banners Framelits, 1-3/4 " Circle Punch, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping on by today and I pray that you will have a honey of day. Now go create something cute and I will be back tomorrow with my meeting cards. Hugs, Bev

Serene Silhouettes Thinking of You from Stampin' UP!

Tee Hee surprise here I am again today friends, and yes I have another post for you. Yea, it is a kind of a whacky Wednesday here so I thought I would show you the cards I made with Serene Silhouettes and Sweet Essentials stamps. I am trying to figure out what card I am going to do for convention swaps and can't decide which one to do over and over. I know it won't be this one with the dahlias. For obvious reasons. LOL! This was really an easy card  and I thought it came out sweet, don't you?

On this card I used my markers to color the stamp and then I added the darling In Color Dahlias with mini glue dots. I used the Fancy Fan Texture Folder on the base of my card and the Finishing Touches Edgelits on my Whisper White layer with Raspberry Ripple card stock. Oh man I need to go take a nap. I got woke up by farm machinery spraying early this morning. Hey did you go to my Facebook page under my Bev's Stamping Spot and like the page for a chance in my blog candy. It ends this Friday.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Serene Silhouettes, Sweet Essentials
Card Stock: Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White
Inks: Raspberry Ripple Ink Pad and Marker, Gumball Green Marker, Summer Starfruit Marker, Primrose Petals Marker.
Tools: Big Shot, Fantastic Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Finishing Touches Edgelits, In Color Dahlias, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.
Have a honey of a day and bless you for stopping by. Remember to create something cute now and make sure you leave me a comment if you stop by. Hugs, Bev

Serene Silhouettes and Trust God sets from Stampin' UP!

Hi friends, happy hump day. I hope your week is buzzing by just fine. I went out to deliver orders last night and show my lucky stamping buddies the Holiday catalog and we all decided we needed to keep on working to pay for all the new stuff in that catalog coming up in August. LOL! It is so awesome you won't believe it. I stamped a bit yesterday and then decided to make deliveries. I take this saying to heart and try to live my life like that but it doesn't always go so simply. I guess the coon has moved on because he hasn't been destroying anything lately but I never caught him either.
I made this card using the Serene Silhouettes and Trust God stamp sets. I love the names of these sets and the stamps in them too. I take this saying to heart and try to live my life like that but it doesn't always go so simply.I made another card with the same flower stamp that I will show you later. This card I made for the ColourQ challenge for this week. I like doing that weekly now. It gives me something to stamp for and the colors are so pretty. It actually called for Brocade Blue so I substituted Marina Mist instead and I just used my sponge and inked it up and rubbed across my card stock. The Chevron background and the edging and the greeting shape are all Big Shot tools.  I tell you those tools really enhance a card nicely, don't you think? I added some pearls to the base of the flowers to dress it up more.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Serene Silhouettes, Trust God
Card Stock: Lucky Limeade, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Inks: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Lucky Limeade
Tools: Big Shot, Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Framelits Labels Collection, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Linen Thread, Sponge, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by to look around and I hope you can get a bit of inspiration while you are here. Remember to create something cute and happy stamping.
Hugs, Bev
