Get Well Card with Perfectly Preserved
Happy Sunday stamping friends. I should be sending this card to me today. I am feeling a tad bit better however but didn't even go to church this morning as I slept in till almost 8:00. I don't seem to be coughing as bad and the Chloraseptic lozenges really helped my throat. I am really going through the Kleenex though.
So, how do you like my jar of bugs made with the stem of the fruit in the Perfectly Preserved? I stamped them in Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake and then made circles for the heads. Okay, I know I am warped but I thought it turned out pretty cute. I put the jar Framelit through the Big Shot leaving the edge of the jar inside the cut so I would have a folded jar. I tied linen thread around the top of it and then on the inside of the jar I hand printed: Got the Bug? I sponged around it and had a bug crawling on the side of the jar with a Dimensional popping it up to help keep the jar closed. It made me giggle when I got it all done.I used Chocolate Chip Card stock and textured that piece with the Stipes EF. I cut a strip of the Naturals Vanilla Card Stock and textured it with the Delicate Designs EF and wrapped some Linen Thread around it. I stamped the Get Well Wishes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Set and punched it out with the Large Oval Punch. I used the Color Spritzer Tool all over the card when I got it done.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Perfectly Preserved, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Naturals Ivory, Chocolate Chip
Inks: Chocolate Chip Ink Pad and Marker, Crumb Cake
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, Linen Thread, Large Oval Punch, Color Spritzing Tool, Sponge, Dimensionals.
Thanks you so much for all of your comments you leave me. I respond to each and every one if I am able too. I hope you have a great Sunday and Yay we have an extra long weekend. I have to make my Stewed Tomatoes today and if I get done with that I hope to get my house cleaned and get to town to get some groceries and medicine I need. Have a honey of a day. Hugs, Bev
