OH my gosh I see now that I put the stamp on backwards on my block and tried to fix it but to no avail. DO NOT DO WHAT I DID. It is supposed to be an ampersand. I am sitting here giggling because if you knew me you would totally laugh too. I honestly didn't even realize what I did. I need to redo it so I am so silly and sorry. Yes, I am sitting here shaking my head. Okay I changed my card so it is correct now and I used an oooooolllldddd alpha bit that maybe some of you remember. It was called the Monogram Alphabit. Well, since I still have mine and Thank God I do because I was just so sick about my card and I knew I had to fix it. So here it is AND by God it is correct now. LOL!
I made that Butterfly Collection card for that challenge the other day and wasn't sure the layout was correct but now I look at this card and it is exactly the same so I hope they don't give me an "F" for the challenge. And I won last weeks challenge for the JUGS or the Just us Girls challenge last week. Notice my badge for Chic of the week on my side bar. I would have liked money or chocolate for the winnings but you get the badge instead which will last longer. Okay just kidding now I really do feel honored.
Okay about the card....have you noticed all the ampersand signs everywhere? Well, if you haven't you have been sleeping a lot because they are everywhere avery popular right now. One of awesome male demos showed how he die cut his ampersand from old rubber left over from cutting out stamps with his Big Shot Die. So I tried doing mine out of the UNDEFINED Kit with the retired Simple Letters and numbers because that is all I have. It turned out okay. I will show that kit and a video in another post. It was my first time using and I love it and have another idea for it too. So many ideas so little time. LOL! Well I stamped the "and" sign in Chocolate Chip onto Naturals Ivory. I then die cut it with the Deco Labels Framelits. I will share a cool tip with you here. Are you paying attention? Okay then before you take the framelit off your card stock, take an inked up sponge and sponge around by the framelit and when you take it out you have a whiter edge. Isn't that cool but easy. I love the effect of it. Okay onward, I die cut the next size framelit up out of the yummy Sweater Weather DSP. The card base is Crushed Curry and the second layer is Chocolate
Chip. The buttons were just connected with Glue Dots and I used the Linen Thread to go through it. I used the Stamp-a ma-jig to stamp the greeting from the Hello Lovely set. So what do you think? I love how it turned out.
