Color Blocking with Wildflower Meadow Stamp

Hello stamping friends, wowza I have to share with you what happened to me yesterday. So SCAREY! I am so thankful today that I am still here. I left for work oblivious of what was going on really other than I did here the air raid sirens going off 20 minutes before I left but they had gone off. It wasn't even raining when I walked out the door so I got in my car and was on my way to work. Happy as a lark. Well, all of a sudden this big gray deluge of rain came at me so hard my wipers couldn't keep up with the pounding rain and then my SUV starts going sideways on the road. I start shaking and my friend Irv that used to be my BF calls to tell me there is a tornado with 85 mile winds coming though Eldridge, I tell him I am in it and have to go and threw the phone down so I could keep my shaking hands on the steering wheel. Then my sister called but I didn't dare answer as the wind was blowing so bad. I could hardly see and the oncoming cars were going slow too so I turned down the first street and pulled behind a building so I could get out of the wind. I was still shaking like a leaf and scared to death. You know I always wanted to be a "storm chaser ". Well forget that damn desire! NO WAY! I was actually in a tornado or around it and I didn't like it one bit.  I was pretty shook when I got to work later than I was scheduled.

Anyway, this is a card I stamped awhile ago and it uses the Wildflower Meadow Background stamp and Chalk Talk. I simply cut my strips of Gumball Green, Daffodil  Delight and Melon Mambo Card Stock and layered them on to a sheet of Whisper White Card Stock cut the same size. I embossed with the White Craft Pad and White Embossing Powder. I stamped the greeting from the Chalk Talk and die cut them out with a Spellbinder's Framelits. I know shame on me. LOL! Make sure you use your embossing buddy.

So that is it for me today, no challenge just a thank you card for all of you. Oh, and if you are wondering what I am doing with all those strawberries, I just had a piece of GF French Toast that I made and froze with honey and strawberries on top for breakfast this morning. YUM!!!!!!
I hope you have a terrific day and me know if  you have any questions. Bless you for stopping by and please let me know if I can help you with your Stampin' UP! purchases.
Hugs, Bev
