ColourQ 180 Swallowtail Ciao' Card

Okay it is Wacky Wednesday today so I am sharing with you another Swallowtail card and Wowza I love how this turned out. Don't you? I stamped this for the ColourQ Card Challenge which is a color challenge. I knew when I saw the colors that I was going to use this big beautiful butterfly. The sun is shining so brightly but it's cold out there and I just realized I missed Zumba. Dang it. Oh well when I play music on my CD player I dance a lot anyway and already lifted my weights to get my arms in shape. It is my mission to clean this pit of a place today and get stuff put away. My card stock is still in boxes and I am trying to clean up my desk after every card now and put it all away to keep it nice and organized. That was my New Year's Resolution to be more organized. UGH still trying. LOL!

So onto my card. My base is Lucky Limeade, and second layer is Basic Gray that I textured with the Square Lattice Texture Embossing Folder. Then on Whisper White Card Stock I rubbed over it with the Embossing Buddy and then stamped the Swallowtail with Versa Mark ink. I poured Black Embossing Powder over it and with my Heat Tool I embossed it. I then got out 3 sponges and my Basic Gray, Gumball Green, and Lucky Limeade ink pads and sponged the color onto the butterfly to color it with the color challenge colors. I then fussy cut it out and stuck about a hundred Stampin' Dimensionals (just kidding) and then where it was over my card stock I trimmed it off. I took a piece of Gumball Green Card Stock and punched out the Curly Label design and then paper pierced it with the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack and then from the Ciao' Baby stamp set I stamped the Ciao' stamp in Basic Gray ink on Whisper White CS and punched it out with the darling Petite Curly Label Punch that you can get Free with Sale-A-Bration right now. I tied some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around the punch out and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I love love love how how it turned out, don't you? So purdy!!!!! LOL! I don't have the Glorious Green so used Gumball Green.
