SU Lucky Day Birthday Card

TGIF stamping friends, OMG time is going fast! My friend came over last night and we touched up paint spots. Trying to get some things done in my house to make it look good to sell. Now, if I can get rid of the boxes and such. I have been getting rid of a lot of discontinued or double stamping stuff.   Ha, I will have to show you a card I made with a discontinued punch that I was selling and my stamping buddy asked me to make a card with it. I was starting to pack up my stamps and I would see a set that was discontinued and I really liked it so I would get it out and stamp. LOL! At this rate I will never get packed.

This card I made with my friends Lucky Day set for one of my Mom's friends that has turned out to be my friend and her birthday is St Patty's day so I thought this would be cute for her. I sort of cased this from the Spring Mini but made it different. I had the That's The Ticket stamp set sitting on my table from another card so I used it here. I have been using up my Confetti Naturals and Whites so that is what I used on this card. I stamped the Beyond Plaid Stamp in Daffodil Delight and stamped it twice but didn't line it up just tight so strategically placed my clover that I fussy cut out and stuck a Rhinestone in the middle of it because Marion is that kind of gal. LOL! I textured some Daffodil Delight with the Argyle Texture Folder and cut along the embossed design and then took a piece of Island Indigo and paper pierced it down the middle. Then attached the ticket and walla, finished. Didn't it turn out cute? I thought so. Love it!

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Lucky Day, That's The Ticket, Beyond Plaid
Card Stock: Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Confetti White(Retired)
Inks: Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Argyle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Ticket Duo Builder Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals.

Bless you for stopping by today and I hope you let me know what you think of my card. Have a great day.
Hugs, Bev

  1. I really like the cutting you did at the bottom of the embossing. It really adds a nice touch. I noticed it right away. So glad you share your creations.
