Happy Wacky Wednesday stamping buddies. Here I am again. Yay, we got rain! There has been Winter Weather Advisories all day on TV. I usually don't have my TV on during my off days but I wanted to see any news about the fires around here. They are still saying heavy snow is possible. GREAT! There are many areas that have been evacuated and houses that have burned down. So when it started pouring down rain I just looked up and said Thank You God! Hey, I was cutting up an apple and I had out my peanut butter to dip it in and and then grabbed some honey to mix into my peanut butter and it tasted just like Bit' O Honey. YUMMMMY! Okay, so now I am going out for another walk.
I got my cards created for my party and I was making a sympathy card using the Ex Libris background set. It was the first time I used it and I Love it! I will show you my other card after my party. I wanted to get in on the colorq challenge so I used this same stamp set on my card. I cut out my tag with the Apothecary Accents Framelits in Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped a greeting from A Word From You set in Basic Black. I punched out flowers with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack in Melon Mambo and Basic Gray Card stock and put pearls on top and then attached them to my tag with Mini Glue Dots. Then I made a couple of banners to layer underneath. I used the Color Spritzer Tool and my black marker to add some texture to my card.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Ex Libris, A Word For You
Card Stock: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Basic Gray
Inks: Pink Pirouette, Basic Black Ink Pad and Marker
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framleits, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Basic Pearls, Color Spritzer Tool, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals.
I am going to get my stuff together for my party and then watch the Presidential Debate after I get my jammies on since it is so gray and dreary. I hope you have a great night and thanks for stopping by and I truly appreciate all your comments. Hugs, Bev
