Happy Wacky Wednesday friends, wow what a day yesterday. I finally got all my salsa verde mixed but not processed. I have to do that today. I worked till 11:00 and didn't even eat supper as I was so busy. I thought about it but wasn't hungry and then when I was putting stuff away I almost passed out. I ate a tomato and some crackers and headed for bed. It was so cold last night so I dug out my winter jammies and crawled into bed and wowza did I sleep good. I have a busy day today since I took out time to stamp yesterday using this new Stippled Blossom set(thanks Julia) I was playing with that for the TSOT challenge so I did two cards. I will have to decide from the three which to swap with Julia, hey I have to throw her off a bit other wise she won't be surprised. I love the colors that were in the colourq so I made a card with those colors. I thought my card turned out so pretty with this beautiful rose. I wheeled the Alahambra wheel over a second layer of Perfect Plum which is the color of my card base. Then I textured it with the Fancy Fan EF. I stamped the flower with Perfect Plum and Rich Razzleberry onto Whisper White Card Stock. The leaves are Old Olive with stamping off on the first layer of the two step. I cut that into a tag shape and sponged around the edges. Then I tied a piece of some of the 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon and put it through the Round Designer Ribbon Slide. Then I took a piece of Old Olive Card Stock and textured that also with the Fancy Fan EF. Sponged around that too and attached it to the card over the tag. Then I added a banner with Miss You from the lacy and Lovely set. I stamped the little blossom and fussy cut it out and stuck it on my tag with a dimensional. I added mini pearls to both flowers and walla you have a beautiful card. I tell you Stampin' Up! just makes it so easy to make pretty, don't you think? Oops, I just realized my sentiment is in the wrong place. Crap, I hope they except my card. I will stamp something else for this challenge if they don't.
Here are the details:
