From My Heart Card

Hi stamping friends, I had the best relaxing weekend. I stamped a bit and laid down to read some things and fell asleep for an hour or so on Saturday. I got up to check my email and then posted to Facebook about looking for apples and my girlfriend told me to go pick at her neighbors so I did but they were real tiny apples. I guess it was a bad year here because no one is selling apples even at stands that always do. Must have been too dry.
I did get my tomatoes blanched too and even made a pot of soup. It was a great weekend. I pray yours was too.

I have a busy designed card I stamped for the ISPY Sketches challenge which was a layout challenge. My card base is Sahara Sand, with the second layer of Primrose Petals which I textured with the Argyle EF. The DSP is Patio Party and the strip of Card Stock is Summer Starfruit. I used the From the Heart stamp Set and used the Friendship stamp on Whisper White. It was punched out with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and then I paper pierced the scallops. I used my marker to color the stamp and then stamped it again with Midnight Muse to have the Friendship banner pop up. I fussy cut that and popped it up with Dimensionals over the original banner. I used a scallop stamp from the Mixed Medley and punched it out with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch and then punched out the biggest flower of the Boho Blossoms punch and wrapped it around the end of my marker to make it pop up and attached it and then added a rhinestone in the middle for some "Bling".

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: From The Heart
Card Stock: Sahara Sand, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Patio Party DSP
Inks: Midnight Muse Ink Pad and Marker, Primrose Petals Ink Pad and Marker, Summer Starfruit
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Argyle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Rhinestones, Dimensionals.

  1. Yeehaw, I LOVE this card! SOOOOO pretty!
We didn't get one single apple on our two trees either. My DH said it was because he trimmed them last year, so we have to wait a year. Not sure about that...but I was bummed, no applesauce.
