Hello Card TST#77

Hello stamping friends, Yay, I am off work till next Monday. My Mom and 2 of my sisters are coming from IA to visit me for the weekend and will be in Thursday night. I am getting so excited as it has been since November since I have seen them. SWEET! I have a hair appointment this morning and then going to get groceries for the weekend. First I have this card I stamped for the Try it on Tuesday challenge to show you. Woo Hoo, this is the first day to order out of the Holiday Catalog.Wow, were the Olympics the best last night? A Silver and Gold for Michael Phelps and the ladies Gymnastics get GOLD! WOW. I just cried right there with them. So proud of them and so happy for them! Absolutely Fabulous!

On my card I used Night of Navy Card Stock and layered the Regals DSP in the same color. Then I textured River Rock Card Stock with the Argyle EF and then used the Scallop Edge Border Punch to scallop the edge. I tied the Night of Navy 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon around the River Rock and DSP layers and tied a knot. I stamped the Hello from the Friendship Preserves stamp set (that you can start ordering today) on the textured card stock and then cut it out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and used the larger Framelits out of the Not Quite Navy Card Stock also.  I thought this would be a good card to send my brother.
I hope you will check out the other cards at the http://trystampinontuesday.blogspot.ca/

 Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Friendship Preserves
