Happy Hump Day stamping friends. Oh it is a rainy day here in Grygla today. I have been taking pictures of my meeting cards from last night and I had done such a silly thing and sent my card I got in our monthly swap back to my recruit in CO so I wanted to wait till I got this months swap from here to send back her card to me. DUH! Yeah I am that goofy a lot of times. I will try to get those posted for you tomorrow.
Meanwhile I wanted to get in on the ColourQ contest for this week.I wanted to use this new hostess set Summer Afternoon and I used a blender pen and just used my marker to color on a clear block for my palette and then sort of mixed some of the colors together for the bunny, basket and bike tires and grass too. I used SU watercolor paper and then cut it out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits which I just love. Then I took the three 1 inch strips of paper and rounded the bottoms off with my 1-/14" Circle Punch. I love the saying in this set as sometimes I so worry about the future and need to remember to take things a day at a time. A stamping friend of mine is going through a lot of health problems lately so I will send this darling card to her. I hope you like it too. You will have to let me know what you think too. The challenge called for some colors that are discontinued so I luckily still have some of the card stock but not all the markers so I used current marker colors and card stock instead.
Here are the details:
