Mother's Day card with Herb Expressions

Hi stamping friends, I am sitting home today with ice on my knee from working in my garden last night digging up weeds. I caught my foot into a little hole and got turned and it stretched my knee. OUCH! I used my shovel as a crutch as I could hardly walk back to my house. I came in and put ice on it but it is still swollen and sore. I knew I wouldn't be able to be on it all day so I didn't go to work.

I wanted to share with you this card I made for my Mom for Mother's day. I just love it. What, am I showing you a new die? No, it isn't a new die or a new punch in fact it is an old old die which is the Top Note Die and I put it through the die to cut out the top note and then turned it one direction matching up the points and then after putting it through the Big Shot I turned it again and I came up with this darling shape. Don't you just love it? Okay, I will confess it wasn't my idea. I got the idea from Kim Van Diepen.  On this card I used the darling darling set Herb Expressions that I will never part with because it is one of my favorite sets and it has inside verses for cards plus beautiful flower bouquets. I will show you another card I made with it later.  I textured the Clear Circle Die with the Manhattan Flower Texture Folder and then used my markers to color in the bouquet. It turned out so pretty and just what I wanted for my wonderful Mom. These were colors from the Color Coach. So beautiful I think. Don't you?
