Hello stamping friends. Happy Sunday. I slept in so late today as I could hardly move this morning. I raked part of my acreage yesterday and picked up sticks and burned them all. I was so tired and sore by the time I got done I had to sleep on the heating pad all night. I am going to the chiro tomorrow. I even missed church today and haven't done that in a long time. I watched it on TV though. It is a gloomy day today and I am praying for rain so I don't have to go finish raking. LOL! I am serious my back is killing me. Okay so onto today's technique....
Got Markers? Well, you need them for this technique called "Tap Dancing". You know, I never could get my heals to do that tap dance noise so I will stick with this stamping technique. LOL! This is a fairly easy technique as all you do is ink up the stamp in a light color and then take a marker in a darker color and tap the brush end against your stamp and then stamp the image onto your card stock. I love this technique as with this detailed image you don't need to waste your precious time coloring it in. Isn't it just so purdy? I sure think so.
Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: On Your Birthday, Elements of Style
Card Stock: Lucky Limeade, Confetti White, Brights Collection Patterns DSP Stack
Inks: Basic Black, Lucky Limeade, So Saffron, Melon Mambo Marker
Accessories: So Saffron 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Sponge
So what do you think about this technique do you like it? You will have to let me know. I want to thank you for stopping by today and please leave a comment when you stop by. Happy stamping and remember to stamp something cute.
Hugs, Bev
