Thank You with Mixed Bunch

Happy Hump Day all. Oh wow was I tired today. I had a dentist appointment up north to get my teefies cleaned this morning and then got back here about noon. I did my normal check my email and and the SU website for updates routine and I could hardly stay awake. Then my hostess called so I closed out her party from Saturday and then grabbed my Better Homes and Gardens and laid down to read that and probably drift to sleep. I got a good nap but before I fell asleep guess what I read?  Guess what the color of the year is for paint? Yes, Tangerine Tango and by that name in the Better Homes and Gardens. I swear that is the truth. I love orange anyway so I was pretty happy.  I started making this card and my girlfriend called me to see if I wanted to walk so I went into town  and walked with her. Thank God she called as I really needed to do something like that. When I got home I finished this card. I wanted to try to emboss the flower and see how it turned out. I thought it turned out pretty cute. I just used different texture folders for the background in the same color just to see how it would turn out. I thought the embossing would be brighter but it wasn't and I have seen videos on our website where they just emboss with out pigment ink so I figured I would try it and I'll be darn, it really worked. Just regular ink. I am never ceased to be amazed.

Here are the details on my card:
Stamp Sets: Mixed Bunch, Thank You Kindly
Card Stock: Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango
Inks: Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze
Accessories: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Finial Press Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Sticky Strip, 1/2" Dotted Scallop Ribbon, Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder, Paper Piercing Tool, Everyday Enchantment Brad from Sale-A-Bration Flyer, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals

I took the paper piercing tool to wrap the leaves up and some down by curling the edges. I hope you like my card today and I want to thank you for stopping by. Hugs and happy stamping, Bev
