Thank You Card for Stamp Technique Sunday

Hi Stampers, does anyone else wish Spring would come quick? I sure do. Today I wanted to share this color blocking technique with you. I wanted to do a Spring looking thank you so this is what I came up with. This is a real easy technique and you can use a solid square or rectangular stamp and then ink it up and stamp onto  light colored card stock. Then stamp your image in a darker ink right over the stamped shape. I just inked up our clear block C and stamped it and then cut around it and roughed up the edges with texture tool from the cutter kit and then I stamped my design with black ink. I used this darling set called Everything Eleanor that I received FREE at Leadership and it will be in the next Idea Book and Catalog.Yes, another perk for being a Stampin' UP! demonstrator and recruiting to go to Leadership. I absolutely love Stampin' UP! events.
Okay here is my card and the supplies:
Stamp Sets: Perfectly Penned,Everything Eleanor, Tiny Tags
Card Stock: Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Inks: Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Perfect Plum, Basic Black
Accessories: Cutter Kit, Pear Pizzazz Pleated Ribbon, Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta, Mini Glue Dots, Clips Assortment, Lucky Limeade Bakers Twine, Word Window Punch, Dimensions, Stamp-A-Ma Jig for the Thank You.

  1. Love this card, Bev! So pretty. The colors flow beautifully.

So you broke out the Everything Eleanor set, eh? Now I'm gonna have to do that, too. I was looking at it a couple of days ago.
