TGIF stamping friends. I got up early for my Zumba class and it is so cold outside today with sleet coming down every once in a while but not amounting to anything. Thank God! My sister came to town so we went down to visit a friend of ours that has Melanoma Cancer and is in a lot of pain. So please say a prayer for Cindy if you would. I went to pick up my new glasses today. The contacts still aren't working for me but I like my new glasses. I heard they caught the last terrorist in Boston and that made me happy. Anyway it is late and I need to get up early tomorrow so better get to this card.
This card is all about the Pop-up Posies Designer Kit where you get all these blossoms and the brads and the Crumb Cake die cuts in the kit. SWEET! I have seen some cute ideas and I really should have cut the die cut down for this sketch challenge but I didn't. The base of my card is Calypso Coral and the DSP is Tea For Two out of the Spring Catalog. The greeting is from that Henry Says set. This was a very easy card.
Here are the details:

Hi stamping friends, wow, finally the rain stopped. We are having flooding issues here in Iowa now as some places got up to 8 inches of rain. The water came up fast with that kind of rainfall. Scarey for some people I am sure. Now tomorrow it is going to be COLD! YUCK, I want warm weather.
Anyway, today was my day off so I got to stamp a bit and I got this set and haven't used it. I stamped this card to attach to my email to tell my customers about the recruiting promotion. My card base is Sahara Sand and I textured the 2nd layer with the Chevron EF. I stamped Henry (I guess it is) in Basic Gray ink on Whisper White Card Stock Then I fussy cut him out and stamped the Beyond Plaid stamp over Henry with Sahara Sand Ink. I stamped the Hooray image in both Basic Gray and Riding Hood Red Ink and cut out the Banner part of the Riding Hood Red and popped it up with Dimensionals that I cut down. Then I punched that out with the Extra Large Oval Punch and sponged the Sahara Sand ink around it. Then I stamped the You're Unforgettable (because my customers and friends are so unforgettable and I treasure them dearly) anyway as I was saying I stamped the image in Riding Hood Red and die cut it with the Bitty Banners Framelits.I sponged around that too. And isn't Henry's hat darling? Oh, he is so cute.I love this Henry Says as it is such a versatile stamp set. Let me know what you think of Henry.
