Oh, Hello Card

Well, Oh, Hello stamping buddies. I had to stamp this card or rather punch out this card this morning to say hi to all of you. I have missed all of you following me. I am finally back up north and here it is Friday already and I got back home Monday night. I have been packing boxes, working on taxes, and just got into stamping last night and this morning. This morning it was so pretty here with what they call a "hoar frost" which in an old wives tale means it will rain six months from the date we have this hoar frost. The sun was shining and the frost on the trees was thick and glistened like diamonds. So beautiful. I knew if I took a picture it wouldn't give it justice. I am wondering if my mojo is back as I just said yesterday that really stamping is just a thing and I wasn't so sure that I wanted to continue but here I am and I do love it. Ok, so onto the card.

My card base is Early Espresso  and I used the Curly Label Punch to punch out 9 pieces of the Parker's Patterns from the Spring Mini and snailed them to my card. Then used my new Oval Framelits which I love love love. So cool! I stamped the Oh Hello with Not Quite Navy ink and then attached those to my card. Then with the Petite Curly Label Punch that I got free from the SAB flyer  I punched out from the Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and using the butterfly stamp from the Bloomin' Marvelous set (also a SAB set) I inked up with Daffodil Delight ink and rolled the edge onto my  Marina Mist ink pad and punched it out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch available in the Spring Catalog. I tied the Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon around the top and walla my card is done. Kind of manly maybe so I will have to find someone to send it to. LOL!

Oh Hello Thank You

Hello stamping friends. Happy New Year to you all. This is the last card I stamped since I have been here. This was my thank you card for my Mom and sister for their Christmas gifts. I don't really have a nice place to take the pics here so the shadows are really showing here. This darling set from the Spring Catalog is so versatile. I just love it. I am really not sure about what I am going to do as right now I'm not sure I will keep doing my stamping business. I just don't want to make any rash decisions right now. I just know I am going to be here in IA till the first part of FEB so I won;t have that much to share with you. Go see that movie Promise Land with Matt Damon. We took some time out and went to a movie yesterday. It was so nice.

On my card I used the Vine Street EF from the SAB flyer and I love that folder too. Now keep in mind I only brought Christmas colored ink pads but ha ha I brought my markers(Thanks God) so I used those to color the flower and then I cut out with the Scallop Circle Punches. Isn't it wonderful how Stampin' UP! designs things that go together and and make it so easy to make your cards and scrapbooking look nice?

Here are the details:

Oh Hello Thank You

Oh Hello stamping friends, wow first off I need to apologize to anyone that has been on my blog the last few days. I thought I would change my background and for gosh sakes what a mess I have created. I finally found one I liked got it on here after having intermittent computer use too. Talk about frustrating but  to honor it I had to use our Chevron EF on this card in honor of my new background. I still don't have my header correct but I do not know how to fix it at this point. I will have to get someone  to help me with that. Mom and I went to see the movie Argo today and you have to see it. What a great exciting movie and based on a true story.

Anyway this morning before we went to the movie I had a chance to stamp some thank you's.  On this card I
used Island Indigo Ink and Card Stock and then textured a layer with the Chevron EF. I used the new set  Oh Hello and  cut out the oval image with the Ovals Collections Framelits. I stamped the banner design over and over and then fussy cut it out. I tied the Baker's Twine around that piece and I sponged around all pieces. I finished off with adding some pearls. It was just a quick card with what I have here at Mom's. Not much. It has been so nice being at home though. You will be able to get this stamp set in the Spring Catalog that is out of this world. You know the flexibility of my job as a Stampin' UP! I demo is what makes my job so nice. I haven't done anything for over a month but do have a party booked in January.

Here are the details:
