SU Holiday Ornaments Christmas Card

Good Tuesday morning everyone. I have a real sense of peace and happiness within me this morning knowing I don't have to work with the gal I used to work for. YAY! I have decided to go home to be with family from this coming Wednesday or Thursday depending on a few things coming in the mail and such. I worked on Christmas cards all day yesterday and got up really early today. My body clock still wakes me up early. The thing about driving home this time of year up here is dealing with driving in weather. I see we have gotten another dusting of snow. The snow cat people will be happy. LOL! Anyway that means my posting will be missing for a couple of days.

On my card today I used the Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric and Holiday Ornament Framelits to make this card. It turned out so pretty in real life. I started out by wheeling the Good Cheer and Linked Lace Builder Wheels over my Naturals Ivory Card Stock. Do you see how the Linked Lace matches up with the design in the fabric. Isn't that just so sweet that Stampin' Up! does that? I love it. I then textured the card stock with the Holiday Frame EF. Ha don't look to close as I put it upside down but placed my ornament to strategically over the obvious part of the frame. UGH, my imperfection is really showing. LOL! I cut out my fabric and put it on the Fabric Adhesive that is on page 177 of the Annual Catalog. Then I put my ornament framelit on it where I wanted it and ran it through the Big Shot. I kept the backing on it and put Glue Dots behind it to hold the Baker's Twine down and ran that to the back of my card. Then tied it around the ornament also. I attached the ornament with Dimensionals. I stamped the tag with the Joyous Celebrations set and punched it out with the Curly Label Punch and then Paper Pierced it with the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack. I sponged around the edges of the card and the tag with Real Red and as usual used my Color Spritzer Tool and my Real Red Marker. I added  a Rhinestone in the middle of the ornament so place your framelit over the right place on the fabric.

Here are the Details:
Stamp sets and wheels: Joyous Celebrations, Good Cheer and Linked Lace Builder Wheels
Card Stock: Real Red, Naturals Ivory
Inks: Early Espresso, Real Red Ink Pad and Marker
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric, Holiday Ornaments Framelits, Holiday Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Baker's Twine, Curly Label Punch, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Color Spritzer Tool, Basic Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Sponges

Here is another ornament card I made at my Stamp-a-Stack.

Christmas Blessings Card Stampin' UP! Set

Hi stamping buddies, I am back. Did you miss me? Wow, I am sorry I haven't posted anything since last Thursday. Busy busy and got back home Saturday night late and tried to get some stamping done, unpack, and get caught up on some things here so now I am back in the groove I hope. I was stamping cards for a stamp a stack but then called a customer friend and she wanted to do a party the date I had picked so I thought she can clean her house instead of me cleaning mine. LOL! Just kidding, of course. She is a smart hostess because from November 1st till December 16th if you have a party that is $450.00 in sales you get a whole group of ink pads. What a great deal! Let me know if you want to book a party.

So here is a card I stamped on Sunday. It uses the darling sets Christmas Blessings and Joyous Celebrations and the Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric.  I don't usually use the fabric on a card but I love how this turned out and so easy. This would however have to me a hand delivered card because of the bulk in tying a know in the fabric. I thought it turned out cute for it being so easy. Don't you?

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Christmas Blessings, Joyous Celebrations
Card Stock: Real Red, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
Inks: Real Red, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frames Folders, Extra Large Oval Punch, Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric, Dimensionals.
Just an easy peasy card to share with you today. I have to get out and do some yard work since we don't have snow yet and get the rest of my laundry done. Have a lovely day and if you need a creative coach for your Stampin' Up! wants or needs make sure you let me know. Shop here anytime 24/7 www.funtostamp.stampinup.net

Joyous Celebrations Christmas Card

Hi friends, how is your week going? Great I hope. I woke up about 7:00 to a cool sunny day. Almost chilly actually.  I made this card for the Merry Monday Challenge #27. I sure like doing these challenges but have to laugh at myself because I come across them and stamp a card like I posted last night with my Wonderfall card and it was closed all ready. Dang! Story of my life really. A day late and a dollar short. I tell you there are some things nice about a small town. My mailman just stopped in to bring my mail and wanted to know how my family visit was and I told him I had a catalog to mail to a friend and didn't want to drive into town for just that so he took it for me and will bill me. YAY! Now I can get some other work done.

I wanted to use this Festival Of Prints DSP and the Holiday Frame on my card, so this is what I came up with. I hope you like it.  I first fussy cut out the Holdiay Frame EF but wasn't happy with it so I used the Oval Accent Die to cut it out and then I textured the frame centering it in the oval.  Then I did fussy cut the ornament in the center and added some bling with a Rhinestone. I took my sponge with the Island Indigo ink pad and went lightly over the embossed image and then sponged around the edge too.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Joyous Celebrations
Card Stock: Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler, Naturals Ivory, Festival Of Prints DSP Stack
Inks: Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Oval Accent Bigz Clear Die, Holiday Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Large Oval Punch, Sponge, Basic Rhinestones
I want you to know how much your comments touch my heart. I mean that and I have made some great wonderful friends by that. I hope you have a great day, Hugs, Bev
