Monday Monday you can't trust that day......LOL! Oh, I wonder who the Bachelor will pick tonight as it is the last night. I can't wait. Off to Zumba this morning. Still trying to get my stamping room organized but I desperately need the shelves that I didn't get moved yet. DRATS! All the snow has melted now but man I need some sunshine for my solar power to be regenerated. :) This card was another one that I made for the benefits in Grygla for the silent auctions for two different people.
On my card my base is So Saffron. I inked up my Blooming with Kindness flower with So Saffron Ink and and then just touched the edges of my stamp against my Regal Rose ink pad and this is what I got. I stamped it on Whisper White Card Stock and then die cut it out with the Window Frames Framelits which is item 129021 for $26.95 and then I die cut a piece of Regal Rose Card Stock and die cut it with the next size bigger and then I Paper Pierced it with the Festive Paper-Pack Essentials which is item number 127857 for $7.95 and these were carried over from the Holiday Catalog. The Designer Series Paper is the Tea For Two again.

Hi stamping buddies, one more card to share with you that I stamped the other day for my Mom when I go home next week. Then I came across this challenge and thought I should post it for one more World Card Making Day. LOL! I now feel I have done my part. I thought this turned out pretty even though my flower is a little high or I die cut the Window Frames Collection too low. One or the other but Mom won't notice that. I did get a lot of laundry done today and I am really tired now even after going to my BFF for coffee early evening tonight. I was going to make up some treats for my customers tomorrow but I think I will go to bed and wake up fresh tomorrow and do that. This will be my last post for the weekend since I have a party tomorrow and it is in the afternoon so I will be to tired to stamp but maybe I will have a chance to show you what I made at the party.
My card base is Pretty in Pink and my next to layers are Whisper White. I textured the top with the Elegant Lines EF and then cut out an opening with the Window Frames Collection Framelits. I added pearls to the top and also a Pretty In Pink Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon that I tied with the Baker's Twine. I stamped one of the images from the Wonderful Mother Set on the outside in Basic Gray ink. Then on the second layer I stamped the flower from Blooming With kindness in Pretty In Pink ink and then tried to stamp it in the opening. I stamped another image from the Wonderful Mother stamp set over the flower in Basic Gray ink.

Good evening stamping friends. My behind is really dragging tonight as I went into work at 7this morning and was asked to stay till 6 to close the store. Uffda, I am beat after 11-1/4 hours. I came home and called my Mom as usual and then had talked to my neighbor about salsa and she wondered how I make it so I ran my recipe over to her and visited for a bit. Then came back home and stamped this card. Well, really designed it as there isn't much stamping on it. LOL! I used the Summer Starfruit and coordinating DSP which was from Birds of a Feather and Simply Scrappin' Pinwheels on Parade. Then tied a bow. Well, I tried as my bows really suck. Sorry about that. I textured a second layer of Card Stock with the Chevron EF and then stamped the greeting from the Blooming With Kindness stamp set. The layout for the challenge was like I show, 3 banners, a bow and a sentiment. Pretty easy peasey really!

Happy Thursday night stampers. Wowza, I was tired tonight after working 9-1/2 hours on my feet with no break. Absolutely ridiculous place to work and actually illegal also, not to have breaks. I came home and had to take a nap. I didn't get home till almost 7. Oh well, I pray my house sells soon so I can quit. I am so excited about moving back to the Quad Cities. Pray Pray Pray!
Here is a card I made for the colourq challenge colors as long as I had to stamp some Sympathy cards for Fall Fest I stamped it so I could put it in a challenge. I used all the colors but it looks like I didn't use the black but it was my stem and sponging around the die cut for the flower. I used the Lacy Brocade EF and the stamped the flower in Tempting Turquoise and then again and another piece of Card Stock and stamped in Pumpkin Pie. I cut it out with a Scallop Circle Punch and popped it up with dimensionals. I die cut the Whisper White Card stock with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and then cut it straight down on my paper cutter to make it mimic a church window. I sponged around it with Black and Pumpkin Pie. I made a banner and added a Round Designer Ribbon Slide and used some Taffeta Ribbon that is probably discontinued in Gray. That is all there is to it. Pretty easy really!

Hi Friends, I hope your weekend went well. Mine was a work both days weekend. I stamped this card the other day so wanted to show you something besides another Reason To Smile card except tonight I have a reason to smile. I have someone coming to look at my house on Wednesday during the day so I ask all who stop by please say a prayer that they will like the house and buy it. Oh dear God, please answer my prayers. That would be such a great thing for me. I am so ready to move back closer to my family. I went to go mow after I got home from work this afternoon and I had a flat tire on my mower. GRRRR! So now I will have to get air and then mow on Tuesday or Wednesday. Great. Oh well, why should I be surprised as that is how my life goes. My poor brother called me tonight and he is having cluster headaches. Poor thing I used to get migraines so I feel for him.
Okay on this card I stamped the flower on Very Vanilla card Stock using my Cajun Craze ink pad and then wiped off the stem with my finger and then used the blender pen to remove the ink better. I then colored it with my Always Artichoke marker. Then I cut it in equal parts but my middle is a bit wider because I trimmed my card stock down too much. If you make it a 3x3" square you can cut it at 1 inch intervals and it will be perfect but I trimmed mine down to fit nicely on the Apothecary Accent cut out. I textured that cut out with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Then tied the Linen Thread around one end and added buttons that I threaded real thin strips of card stock through instead of using thread or ribbon. I stick them through and then use a mini glue dot on the back of the button to hold it down. I think it works great and saves on thread. I just stamped the Thank You directly onto my card base so I didn't have a banner or tag to cover the beautiful flower. I think it turned out beautiful. Don't you?

Good morning friends, oh wow I slept till 7:30 this morning and it felt so good. I must have needed it. I watched the Olympic time trials for swimming and for gymnastics last night. I just love the Olympics when they come on. Those little gals are so bandaged up it amazes me how they can tumble like they do. It made me flinch when they would fall on their butt from flying through the air. I wonder if they go to the chiro when they are through? LOL! It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day today and I need to probably water my garden and work on some SU stuff.
So what do you think of this card? I am happy with the way it turned out. I giggle at myself sometime and think Geesh Bev, can you ever make a card with out the Big Shot? LOL! That Mr Big Shot just makes my life so much easier, prettier, and we all know shapelier. Yes, I love my Mr Big Shot. Now if it could help my body be shapelier I would really be a happy gal. Tee Hee! I used the Adorning Accents and I told you before that I bought two sets of them so I can run them through and die cut at the same time. This shape is why. Oh, I can give you a tip that will help you when you lay your framelits down on your cutting plate, it is best if you put a post it note over the framelit before you send it through the Big Shot so it holds the framelits in place on your card stock. Then you will get a nice cutout like this here. I put the the cut out through again using the Adorning Accents Folder and got this cute trim on your cut out. That was the first time I used the folders with the framelits and I love how they look. Don't you? I stamped the poppies twice on my card and then again twice on scrap card stock. I cut out the little poppies from the scrap and then wrapped the poppy around a marker both sides of the card stock to get the fibers in the paper broke down. Then I peeled the card stock apart and curled up each poppy and put them together with mini glue dots. Then I colored in the flowers I cut out with blender pen and my ink pads. I cut out the center of the framelit cut out with the extra large oval punch and then again on Old Olive card stock after I stamped stamped this lovely "Hope is a wish with a little more Clout" and punched it out with the same punch and then I used my fingernail and roughed up the edge of the oval and then popped it up with mini glue dots onto my card. I tied the Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon up and around and then tied Linen Thread around it to hold it in place. That way I didn't have a bulky knot or a flat ribbon and have to pay more postage. Then I used the Color Spritzer Tool with my Bravo Burgundy marker to spritz contrasting color onto my card and I just love how it turned out. I hope you like it too.

Good Monday morning to all you stamping friends. I hope you all had a terrific weekend. Mine was short but sweet. We had a beautiful weather day yesterday. Absolutely perfect! I went to church and came home and made my pasta dish and then put it in the frig to bake later. I started laundry when I got home and then Ann that won the blog candy last time finally come over to get it and I gave her new catalog and showed her the Holiday Catalog. She had a list of stuff to buy already when she got here. We went through the catalog and I showed her some different things as she is a fairly new stamper. She asked what the Versa Mark Pad was so I told her we would make a card. I had gotten this stamp set out to make another card so I grabbed it to make this card. It was really a quick card to make and so easy but sweet, don't you think?
I love that butterfly punch so much better that the old one. The butterflies in this set just make me happy. Now that I have used it I think I will make some more cards with it. I stamped the butterfly in the brick pattern on the background and then stamped one on Whisper White and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. Added the pearls and then punched the edge of the Wisteria Wonder card stock with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. My biggest struggle was with the Bakers' Twine, LOL! I just cut it too short the first time and ended up starting over. Oh well.

Good morning friends, I have a quick post for you. Have to get running in a few to get to work. I wanted to post something for you though before I go. This is a card I made the other night with the Blooming with Kindness set that I just love. Here I inked the flower up with Tangerine Tango and then wiped the ink off the stem and used my Old Olive Marker to color it. I used that Paper Piercing Essentials Pack to give it texture. This is the new In Color Midnight Muse card stock. I used that border from Summer Silhouettes to stamp on the bottom and then textured the piece of card stock with the Fancy Fan EF. I thought it turned out cute don't you?
Well, I hope your summer has started off well. I got home from work last night and took a nap and then got up and hoed the weeds out of the garden even though I don't have much out there since my tomatoes and a lot of my peppers froze. Then my friend came over and we worked on her order so she could get the hostess special. Then I went to bed. Lots going on today around here but I am working as I told you before.
