Ex Libris Thank You for colorq

Happy Wacky Wednesday stamping buddies. Here I am again. Yay, we got rain! There has been Winter Weather Advisories all day on TV. I usually don't have my TV on during my off days but I wanted to see any news about the fires around here. They are still saying heavy snow is possible. GREAT! There are many areas that have been evacuated and houses that have burned down. So when it started pouring down rain I just looked up and said Thank You  God! Hey, I was cutting up an apple and I had out my peanut butter to dip it in and and then grabbed some honey to mix into my peanut butter and it tasted just like Bit' O Honey. YUMMMMY! Okay, so now I am going out for another walk.

I got my cards created for my party and  I was making a sympathy card using the Ex Libris background set. It was the first time I used it and I Love it! I will show you my other card after my party. I wanted to get in on the colorq challenge so I used this same stamp set on my card. I cut out my tag with the Apothecary Accents  Framelits in Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped a greeting from A Word From You set in Basic Black. I punched out flowers with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack in Melon Mambo and Basic Gray Card stock and put pearls on top and then attached them to my tag with Mini Glue Dots. Then I made a couple of banners to layer underneath. I used the Color Spritzer Tool and my black marker to add some texture to my card.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Ex Libris, A Word For You
Card Stock: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Basic Gray
Inks: Pink Pirouette, Basic Black Ink Pad and Marker
Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framleits, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Basic Pearls, Color Spritzer Tool, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals.

I am  going to get my stuff together for my party and  then watch the Presidential Debate after I get my jammies on since it is so gray and dreary. I hope you have a great night and thanks for stopping by and I truly appreciate all your comments. Hugs, Bev

Thank You with Betsy's Blossoms from Stampn' UP!

Hi friends, I hope you all had a terrific weekend. I work today and then I am looking forward to my two days off this week. I need to start stamping my swap cards for convention. It will be here before I know it. This card was one of the cards I  made while my phone wasn't working so I couldn't blog hop or check emails and such.

I can never have enough thank yous it seems so I always try to stamp a couple of those a week. On this card I used the stamp set Betsy's Blossoms with the Apothecary Accents Framelits. I love those framelits and I really like the shape of this one. Framelits are so popular with a lot of companies and they don't take up much room to store either.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Betsy's Blossoms, A Word For You
Card Stock: Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Whisper White, Brights Designer Series Patterns Paper Stack
Inks: Real Red, Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will have a great week. Have a honey of a day and remember to create something cute. Make sure you check out my blog candy contest.

Happy Anniversary Card

Hi stamping friends, Yay, it is the weekend. I had a party today and had such a terrific time. This was a card we made today. My hostess has asked me before for any ideas for an anniversary card so I designed this card for her. I sort of cased it from a card I saw at Leadership in San Antonio in January but have no idea who from. I thought these colors were so perfect together and it just screams Spring to me which I am so ready for. Yes, I am tired of wearing sweat shirts out to walk and around the house. Spring has to be coming soon though. I have to tell you we laughed so hard at my party today I almost peed my pants. I got out the glitter for this card and my hostess added on this huge craft room and her nieces like to come over and stamp and get out the glitter and we all laugh that it gets all over. So today I said well, the hostess requested that I make a card with glitter so here it is...She looks at me and said. "Oh really, I didn't know I asked that."  We just laughed and I was giving the gals crap about having glitter all over everything. I had put it in the middle of my flowers for some extra bling but wow was it messy.  I am not really a glitter girl that is for sure. I must of had it in my nose because it made me sneeze. LOL!

I used my blender pens and ink pads to color the flowers of the Bordering in Romance stamp set. I love love love the Seam Binding as it makes the nicest bows and this was part of the Summer Smooch so I wanted to use it. I tied a bow and then stuck a mini safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets and then stuck that through my Daffodil  Delight card stock. I rounded off the tag with the 1" Circle Punch.I used my marker to ink the words on the stamp so they could stamp just the greeting.  I had my camera out today so I will have to post a picture of my customers some time soon.

Here are the details:
Stamp Sets: Bordering On Romance, A Word For You, Sweetly Said
Card Stock: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Cheerful Treat DSP, Attic Boutique DSP
Inks: Melon Mambo Marker and Ink Pad, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Framelits Labels Dies, Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 1" Circle Punch, Vintage Trinkets, Dazzling Diamond Glitter, 2 Way Glue Pen, Rhinestones, Dimensionals.
Let me know what you think of my card by leaving a comment if you would be so kind. I pray you have a great rest of the weekend. Happy stamping and remember to create something cute.
Hugs, Bev

Thanks Big Time Card

Hi stamping friends, Happy Hump Day. I woke up this morning and it was raining and I was waiting for my Kuerig to brew and singing "It's a Rainy Night In Georgia" and then I started laughing and thinking "Wrong Bev it is day time and you are in Minnesota not Georgia." LOL! Now the sun is shining but I had to mail a card and it is windy today. That will dry things off so the farmers can get back in the field.  I went to bed about midnight and couldn't sleep as I could still hear them. I think they must have worked well into the wee hours. I must be in a good mood because I got registered for Convention yesterday, well that is one of the reasons.

This is a card I stamped this morning and made it a Thank You cards as I always need a lot of those. I really should be working on my party cards. I have one more to make but I know what I am doing so it will be easy to make up quick. On this card I stamped the Fabulous Florets stamp onto the First Edition Specialty DSP and then put some ink from my refill bottle into a little embellishment container and then took my Aqua Painter and dipped it in the ink and let it soak up a minute and then spattered it onto my card and everywhere else too. LOL! So when you do this technique make sure you have a nice bug cleared out area.  I then textured the edges of the DSP and the Tangerine Tango Card Stock and snailed them togehter. Then I put some Sticky strip on the back of the Tangerine Tango to hold down my Scalloped Polka Dot Ribbon that I turned over so I wouldn't see the dots and stuck the ends down on the the Sticky Strip. Sometimes Snail doesn't work so well for ribbon.  So everything else is pretty easy to figure out but you should know me by now that I am just an email away to answer any of your questions.

Here are the details for my card:
Stamp Sets: Fabulous Florets, A Word For You
Card Stock: Naturals White, Tangerine Tango, First Edition Specialty DSP
Inks: Tangerine Tango Ink Pad and Refill
Accessories: Big Shot, Finial Press Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Cutter Kit, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Tangerine Tango 1/2" Scallop Dotted Ribbon, Aqua Painter, Paint Brush, Sponge, Dimensionals.
Do not use an Aqua Painter as I can't get the ink out of my Aqua Painter now so use a small art Paint brush to pick up the ink and splatter it. Sorry!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely day as I know I will. The sun is shining. YAY! Create something cute and make sure you follow the LNS Web Ring for the Treasure Hunt. You can win FREE Stuff!
