Happy Sunday stamping buddies. No challenge today just a Christmas card that I had stamped for my card class using the O Holy Night stamp set. That is my favorite Christmas song, what is yours? I have a lot to do this week to get ready for my family Christmas party next weekend so I probably will miss blogging this week. Just so busy. I still need to put in weather stripping around my doors and winter has already set in here. It has been snowing all day but light enough for me to sweep it. I have swept it twice and shoveled it once. I am going to leave it now till it stops. I pray that is soon.
Anyway, on my card I used Cherry Cobbler card stock and embossed the second layer with the Pretty Print EF. On a piece of Naturals Ivory I inked up a clear block and stamped it on my card stock. Then with Versamark I stamped the O Holy Night image and embossed it with Early Espresso Embossing Powder. I used the rotary trimmer with the scalloped blade to cut it down to fit on my card front. I wrapped the Crochet Trim Ribbon around the top layer of card stock. Then attached a Very Vintage Designer Button and put a Cherry Cobbler one on top and tied some Linen Thread through it.
Very easy card and I love love love how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by and I am not posting any links today so if you have nay questions let me know. Have a great week and I hope to be back soon. Hugs, Bev
I love the vintage feel to this....and I am glad to see someone using the rotary blade. I haven't seen anyone use it yet!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with LeAnne this card has got a wonderful vintage look to it. My all time fav. song would have to be Away in A Manager - I sing that and I feel six years old again. A song from Sunday School days. sigh. Vx
