Hello again stamping friends. OMG, I love this set that was designed by a Stampin' UP! staff person and the stamp was just how I was feeling today. Just be Grateful basically and LIVE LIFE! I love it. This is made for the "You Design it" or something like that and this is from a set that you buy in which you get the block and the foam and then carve out your own stamp. You should see all the designs and wow how cool is that? Make your own stamp. Let me know if you are interested and I can tell you how to get the kit. I am going to hang this card in my stamp room to bring me joy.
I have to share with you about this damn apartment that I live in. I am sitting here typing this out and the family upstairs is bouncing on the floor like you wouldn't believe. I AM SO SICK OF THIS PLACE! I come home late at night during my work nights and I can hear the guy snoring. Really.... come on November so I can get the heck out of here. I may even cut my lease short as I hate it here. It is just ridiculous. Okay enough of the complaining.
Anyway, I stamped this card for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge which was a layout challenge.
I used the Birthday Basics DSP and then matched my card stock to the colors in that which were Bermuda Bay and Crisp Cantaloupe. Be sure you check out the other stampers here as there are some darling cards and lots of them. Check them out here: http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com
I hope you have a good rest of the weekend. I need to freeze corn tomorrow so that is my Sunday afternoon. Thanks for stopping by today. Off to bed for me... I hope they will be quiet now.
Hugs, Bev
Oh hello, I know it has been a long time but I have been so busy like I am sure you have. My sister and I got curtains made for two of my windows and helped my sister Kathy pack since she will be moving to Colorado. :-(
I found the coolest fabric to make my craft room curtains out of so when I get them done I will take pics for you. Look at this cute fabric that I found to make curtains out of. Well, my sister did most of it. I was going to put these in my stamp room but my new couch comes tomorrow and I figured it was more important to cover that window first since the sun comes in that side. I have blinds but wanted curtains too.
Okay onto my card. I wanted to send a card to Irv for thanking him for taking time out of his bus schedule to help me move and always takes me out. Since he is a tractor mechanic I used this Tim Holtz embossing folder I have to make a thank you. I stamped this for the FMS sketch challenge this week. The only thing that is SU is the Oh Hello set and of course the ink and card stock. I sure will miss the Not Quite Navy color that is retiring. :-(
Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for stopping by. Here is the link for FMS88 to see all the other creative cards http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.
