Storybook Friends Tent Card

Hi stamping friends, I am back to show you another card I stamped today  for the ISPY Sketch. I came home from church with my migraine hurting so took some meds and went to lay down.  I was watching the Ryder Cup which is golf and talk about exciting. The US lost however. Anyway, I saw this Tent Card  technique on someones blog and then went to Splitcoaststampers to find out how to do it and it's so easy. This is going to be a long post. LOL! I love  the way my card turned out!! I hope you do too.
My Marina Mist card base is cut the skinny way I call it for a normal size card. Then you cut another 4"x 4-1/4" piece of card stock to match and then your score from the 4" side at 1",2" and 3" marks. That is your tent part like I show above so fold the ends valley fold and a mountain fold in the middle. I used Sticky Strip to adhere that piece at the last step after I got the front done. I cut out the hole with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and then cut the bigger size from Naturals White and sponged grass and sky seen inside. Then  layered two of the framelits together on my Big Shot to cut out the Floral District DSP. I textured the front of the card with the Chevron EF and then attached the DSP by snailing that around the window frame. I stamped the little duckie and hello with my ink pads and blender pen. Then I stamped the duck again with Soft Suede and fussy cut out the duck and stuck it on with Mini Glue Dots and then die cut it out with a smaller Window Frames Collection Framelits. Then I popped up the die cut with dimensionals in the location for the challenge. I added a Ribbon Slide with the Daffodil Delight Seam Binding that I got wet and crumpled up and heated it in the microwave at 45 second intervals till it was dried.I got that idea from my friend LeAnne Pugliese that shows how to make the seam binding so shabby and cute.  I stuck that on with Mini Glue Dots. If you have any questions about this at all please let me know. Email me and I will answer any question for you. Well about this card anyway. LOL!
