Reason to Smile Thanks Card-colourq challenge

Hi friends, Wowza did we ever have thunderstorms for the 4th. Lightening and the whole big shebang and I mean close lightening. Wow my lights flashed I don't know how many times. It was so dry here so the heavy rains were a welcome but I know some people have had such treacherous weather around here. We have been blessed not to get that.  Oh yes welcome to the Netherlands and Austria people just being able to sign up as demos. I would love to have you on my team.


Here is another card using the little flowers in the Reason To Smile set. I made this card for the colourq challenge but had to use Marina Mist instead of Brocade Blue as I no longer have the old ink pads. Make sure you check out the  the other cards on the www.colourq.blogspot.com.  On my card I had this scrap of textured Calypso Coral Card Stock so I rounded the edges with a circle punch and then attached it to my card. I stamped the little flowers on the Whisper White Card stock and I have something funny to tell you.I put this through the Big Shot with the biggest framelit in the Apothecary Accents but it had too much white space for me. Well I already had it attached to my card with the pearls on it and everything. Well did you know you can flatten the pearls. I took the shape above and layed it out so the flowers were spaced right and put it through again. Yepper those little pearls were flat as a pancakes when it came out. I peeled them off and layered new ones down. Not actually they could have been cute on the right card. I stamped the banner with the One In A Million stamp set using just the thanks so much part of one of the stamps.  Then tied the blue Denim Jean ribbon around my card and called it good.
