Flower pot card

I received a swap card (one of our demo perks) and it was the cutest card. It was an Easter basket and then I received a card from a sweet gal I met at the MPLS Regional and it was a flower pot so I traced the pattern of the basket and turned it into a flower pot. I used Tangerine Tango for the bace and the In Color Hostess Designer Paper Pack in Peach Parfait, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi CS and Tangerine Tango Ink Pad and Wild Wasabi Marker for the dots on the flower. I trimmed the edge with scalloped edge border punch  119882 $15.95. I used the Two Step Bird Punch $16.95 for the leaves only and then used Five Petal Flower Punch 119880 $16.95 and The Big Shot 113439 $99.95. I used the Simple Flower Embosslit Die 114514 $11.95, Flower Burst Embosslit Die $11.95and then I used the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder 119976 $7.95 and added Brights Flower Beads 119734 $8.95 to each flower.
I stamped Happy Birthday with Teeny Tiny Wishes 115370  $36.95 and God Blessings for the greeting 114972 $33.95.
I hope you like it as it took me a while to do it here is a link to how to make it. I was lucky to receive a swap of Easter Cards that was a basket so I traced it but the same thing will work to for the flower pot.
Here is my sample. I am going to send it to my wonderful sister Kathy for her birthday. I made mine 4-1/4 at the top by 3-1/2 at the bottom. I hope you like and leave me a comment if you do. Wow I am loopy from taking cough medicine so I better go lay down. WHOOOOO! I have a horrible cold. Happy Stamping, Bev. I will post the next one to show it closed. It is so stinkin' cute!

  1. Your flowers are lovely! I may need to invest in those Embosslits. The colors are sure to brighten everyone's day. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I love this card too. I need to case this one too. TFS

Bless you for leaving me a comment. You bring me many smiles.
